Meet Devin, the first AI software engineer. Over the last couple of days, I've been developing an asynchronous database application using GPT-4 and Claude 3. Developing this project wouldn't have been possible for me without collaborating with LLMs, and at this stage, Claude 3 has proven to be the superior coding assistant. However, the effectiveness of these LLMs hinges on the user's ability to ask specific, well-formulated questions. This collaborative process has been immensely educational, allowing me to learn rapidly. Instead of spending time searching for potential answers to issues, I've been able to focus on developing solutions and deepening my understanding of the code. This experience is a prime example of the benefits of learning by doing. The concept of Devin, the first AI software engineer, is fascinating. I'm eager to gain access and test it.
