The LUMIX S1H was a video powerhouse when it was released a few years ago. A true mirrorless cinema camera. It is rumored that a new version of the camera named the S1HII will be coming out in Q4. Here I will lay out my predictions for the specs of this new body. Also some things I want to see. Video features: - [ ] Keep the 24.2 megapixel sensor to maintain photosite area. - [ ] 6K60p at 10bit 422 All-I un-cropped, And open gate recording at 60p 10bit 422 All-I - [ ] 6K24p ProRes un-cropped - [ ] 4K120 at 10bit 422 un-cropped - [ ] C4K24 12bit internal ProRes Raw recording un-cropped. Or 60p with a crop. - [ ] 1080p at 300+fps 10bit - [ ] Faster sensor readout than the S1H and the S5IIX - [ ] Dual native ISO of 640 to 6000 - [ ] Arri LogC3 like the GH7 Other features: - [ ] 32bit float internal audio recording - [ ] Full-size HDMI and SDI out - [ ] MiniXLR x2. Maybe a battery grip that gives more audio input along with another battery. - [ ] External SSD recording over USBC - [ ] Phase detect AF - [ ] At least 15 function buttons - [ ] False color display internally mapped to its own button out of the box. - [ ] Timecode port like on the GH5 - [ ] Front tally light - [ ] New upgraded battery for longer recording times. All at a starting price of $3,500 This needs to be a real cinema camera with all the cinema camera features in a mirrorless body.

💡 HDR isn't just one size fits all; it's a spectrum of types! Let's dive into the world of HDR and see what sets them apart: 1. Multi-Exposure: The classic approach uses two or three frames with different exposure times overlayed to a single image. Simple and effective, but it comes with a trade-off. Images captured at different times may introduce motion artifacts and reduce the maximum possible frame rate and exposure time. 2. Digital Overlap (DOL) - Sony STARVIS: Here's where Sony STARVIS sensors shine! By overlapping short and long exposure frame readouts, motion artifacts are minimized and longer exposure times become feasible. Plus, the reduced latency between frames means clearer, crisper shots. 3. Clear HDR - Sony STARVIS 2: This one's a game-changer! It captures the same image with low and high gain, eliminating motion artifacts and maintaining the full frame rate. The IMX585 sensor even performs image composition on-chip for that extra efficiency. Yet, it might not match the HDR performance of DOL. With each type offering its unique pros and cons, HDR technology continues to push boundaries. From minimizing artifacts to maximizing frame rates, there's an HDR solution tailored to diverse needs! ➡ Learn more about FRAMOS’s wide range of image sensor technologies: https://bit.ly/3RjPiW7 #FRAMOS #embeddedvision #sensor #HDR

#Repost @salrayworks_official with @use.repost ・・・ Did you know? The biggest advantage of Full NDI is that it guarantees SDI-level picture quality over the network compared to HX. However, this advantage depends on the performance of the zoom lens in addition to the Full NDI encoder in the PTZ camera. After various zoom tests, we chose the Sony 30x zoom module, which should quickly recover focus when objects frequently move out of focus. However, the cheaper zoom lenses we tested took a long time to find focus. After testing, we expressed our respect for Sony’s zoom performance, and the full NDI PTZs made with it are the sharon 360 and sharon 30. Except for Sony Zoom, sharon 360 is 100% designed and produced in Seoul. Please rate it after using it! #sharon360 #sonyzoom #autofocus #salrayworks https://lnkd.in/gz3FQ3D4
