Humanity has to come together. For the realization that by collectively working as one, Humanity has the ability to control over Time, the Weather patterns of the Earth. For our collective benefit or not, which is why the Summit of the Future is a great start, working together for a brighter Future.... We can work out what type of World, all previous generations, want to leave for their off-springs Future, to live inside off. With the Earth being an enclosed Bubble... containing all 3x Solid/Liquid/Air.

As the curtains closed on Sustainability Week, marked by the global stocktaking event on April 19, 2024, at the UN Headquarters in New York, A GREAT number of discussions and opportunities unfolded during this significant gathering led by Dennis Francis, Damilola Ogunbiyi @Kenji Nakano @Junhua Li, Achim Steiner and more. This event aimed to review the progress made during the UN Decade of Sustainable Energy for All and to accelerate actions towards achieving SDG 7 which posted essential questions on enhancing ambitions, scaling up multi-stakeholder partnerships, and establishing future institutional arrangements for international cooperation on energy. Thematic debates explored two main areas: 💨 1. Closing the energy access gap and transitioning to decarbonized energy systems, emphasizing the need for accelerated progress in renewable energy deployment and deep energy decarbonization. 🤝 2. Discussions centered on addressing energy's interlinkages and enhancing means of implementation and partnerships, focusing on cross-sectoral approaches to sustainable development. BRANDi and Companies, the smallest yet the fastest growing organization to be part of the World Economic Forum’s prestigious Global Future Council, the significance of Sustainability Week resonates deeply and signifies a clear indication of being Future-ready. Our introduction of the #Sustainomy, aligns closely with the event's purpose, which challenges the traditional returns maximization focus of the existing economy and instead advocates for a system that prioritizes environmental well-being and societal progress alongside wealth. The UN Summit of the Future is a very important and timely summit which, amongst other issues, is trying to ensure that the UN system itself is “ fit for purpose” as humanity faces into a complex set of interrelated global challenges. Most intelligent people recognise that an unprecedented level of international cooperation will be required over the coming decades if we are to succeed in averting catastrophic climate change, address global migration, and promote peace, stability and human security around the world. It is importabt that UN Member Statez ( such as Ireland) invest the resources and give the necessary political attention to this UN Summit and to the processes associated with it. The Summit represents an oppprtunity for societies everywhere and for their political leaders more specifically, to act before it’s too late, and before the opportunity to create a more positive future for people and for planet is lost. Here’s hoping that humanity’s self- preservation instincts kick in (even at this late stage) and that the Summit of the Future can produce an overall political blueprint, and a set of agreements that will allow us all to create a better future for ourselves, and to avoid the potentially catastrophic global scenarios that will confront us otherwise…

From the 15-19th April, the UN General Assembly's Sustainability Week took place. As a company with a strong commitment to sustainability, Phoenix Design Aid keenly followed updates from last week. The week particularly focused on SDG 7: Affordable and Clean Energy, and culminated in a Call to Action for the further acceleration of the implementation of SDG 7 towards 2030 and beyond. This Call to Action urged Member States, civil society, the private sector and others to follow up on the United Nations Decade of Sustainable Energy for All. Phoenix Design Aid is committed to promoting partnerships to achieve the Sustainable Development Goals. Cooperation is essential to achieving the SDGs and we must continue to work into 2030 and beyond to ensure a sustainable future. #UNGASustainabilityWeek

⚡️ADOPTED ⚡️ The UN General Assembly bursts into applause with the approval of the Pact for the Future and its annexes, including the Global Digital Compact and Declaration on Future Generations at the #SummitoftheFuture. The #SummitOfTheFuture offers a unique, once-in-a-generation chance to unite in addressing today’s challenges and protecting #OurCommonFuture and presents an opportunity to create a digital future that is inclusive, safe, and centered around human well-being for everyone. Importantly, how many countries have #GenderEquality at the top of the agenda?
