Each year, we pause to honor the men and women who have served in the armed forces, committing their lives to something larger than themselves. Veterans Day is a reminder of the power of purpose, resilience, and the leadership that emerges when service and sacrifice come together. Military service instills a deep sense of responsibility, courage, and loyalty—qualities that inspire all of us to lead with integrity and commitment. Veterans have set an incredible example of how steadfast dedication to a mission and a team can create remarkable results and lasting impact. They teach us that true leadership isn’t just about commanding; it’s about serving, guiding, and bringing out the best in others. I've experienced this consistently when I've had the opportunity to work with them. This Veterans Day, let’s take a lesson from those who’ve served, asking ourselves: How can we strive to be the best versions of ourselves? Whether in our careers, our communities, or our personal lives, we each have a role to play in creating positive change. By embracing resilience, staying true to our values, and leading with empathy, we can make a meaningful difference. To all veterans: Thank you for your service. May we honor your sacrifice by leading with purpose, inspired to make our own impact, no matter where we are. #VeteransDay #Leadership #Inspiration #TeamYulista

Did You Know? Bob Ross Was More Than an Artist – He Was a Veteran Many of us know Bob Ross as the calm, encouraging painter who made “happy little trees” a beloved phrase. But before his career as the host of The Joy of Painting, he served in the U.S. Air Force, enlisting at just 18 and rising to the rank of sergeant. He retired in 1981 after 20 years of dedicated service. Stories like Bob Ross’s remind us that veterans have powerful, multifaceted journeys that extend beyond their service. And it’s those stories, their impact, and their resilience that I’m passionate about highlighting. As a veteran myself and the Founder and CEO of VetMentorAI, I know firsthand the strength it takes to transition from military life to civilian success. That’s why I’m excited to share that I’ll be shifting more of my content to focus on veteran stories, support, and the impact we can all make together. From success stories to insights about navigating challenges, this space will become a hub for celebrating and empowering those who’ve served. My goal? To create a space that uplifts, informs, and connects veterans, as well as those who wish to support them. Because veterans are more than their service—they are creators, leaders, innovators, and change-makers. Stay tuned as we spotlight more veterans, share resources, and inspire one another to push forward and thrive. #VeteranSpotlight #MilitaryHeroes #VeteranStories #Empowerment #Leadership #VetMentorAI

Today, as we honor our veterans, I’m reminded of how their sacrifices ripple far beyond the battlefield. I think of the quiet strength they carry, the lessons they teach without saying a word. One veteran recently shared with me from the audience the importance of being heard and seen and making others feel that way while deployed in Afghanistan. ♥️ He talked about how powerful it can be to be the giver and receiver of this great gift. 🎁 He taught me that we have control over how we show up for ourselves and others even in stressful situations on the battlefield. Veterans are mentors, leaders, and teachers—shaping us long after their service ends. Today, let’s celebrate not just their bravery but the wisdom they pass down to each of us. Here are some veteran’s I’d like to honor: Jason O. Harris Chris Almeria, Ed.D • John Register, CSP™, CPAE, PLY William "T" Thompson, JD, CSP. Rich Parsons 🥇 Success Coach ✒ Chief Editor Kim "KC" Campbell, MBA, MA Heather Pringle Mary Kelly, Commander, USN, CSP, CPAE Jon Macaskill (I know there are many more. So sorry if I left you out…) Now, it’s your turn, in the comments 👇 ⬇️ let me know who you’d like to honor today. Help me remember these very important people. #veterans #selfleadership #caringleadership

📣 ❤️ 🤍 💙 SHOUTOUT To Our VETERANS ❤️ 🤍 💙 📣 Today, especially, we want to take a moment to honor and thank all the veterans who have served our country. Your dedication, sacrifices, and unwavering commitment to protecting our freedoms are beyond words. Veterans exemplify the true essence of strong leadership—one that is not just about guiding others, but also about making sacrifices for a greater cause. In the military, leadership is not about position or power, but about responsibility, resilience, and putting the needs of others before your own. It's about showing up, even when the path is uncertain or difficult, and being willing to put the team and mission above all else. As we reflect on the service and sacrifices of our veterans, let's remember that leadership is not always about taking credit—sometimes, it's about stepping up when no one else will, making tough decisions, and standing firm in the face of adversity. It's a reminder that the greatest leaders often sacrifice the most, for the good of those they serve. Thank you, veterans, for your strength, your courage, and your incredible leadership. We are deeply grateful for everything you have done and continue to do. 📣 Please thank your veterans in the comments.📣 #VeteransDay #Leadership #Sacrifice #ThankYouVeterans #BeALeader #ProudToBeAnAmerican #America #LeadershipTraining

It’s always inspiring to see organizations like Client Solution Architects(CSA) recognize the contributions of veterans. As someone who has navigated the transition from military service to civilian life, I understand the importance of finding an employer who doesn’t just see your service as a line on a resume but values the leadership, resilience, and dedication veterans bring to the table. Employers like CSA spotlight veterans, honor their sacrifices and actively create opportunities for them to show what genuine support looks like. For veterans, finding these companies can make all the difference—not just in building a career but in finding purpose and belonging after service. To my fellow veterans: Look for employers who don’t just talk about support but demonstrate it through action. Employers who understand the challenges we face and are willing to work alongside us to build meaningful careers. Thank you, Jerome Peterson, for sharing your story and reminding us of the enduring legacy veterans create. Let’s keep building connections between veterans and employers who genuinely care. #Veterans #CareerTransitions #EmployersThatCare #Leadership #ThankYouVeterans
In this week's #FridayFeature, we highlight Veteran Sgt—Jerome J. Peterson, Jr., as part of our celebration of #VeteransandMilitaryFamilyMonth. It’s disappointing to see companies, especially those who pride themselves on supporting veterans, not honor Veteran's Day, with a day off. Veterans have made sacrifices many of us can’t fully comprehend, and offering them a day to pause, reflect, and feel valued is a meaningful gesture of respect. Observing Veterans Day as a holiday isn’t just an added benefit; it’s an acknowledgment of the unique contributions veterans bring to our workplaces and communities. For companies that hire and support veterans, taking this day to honor them shows a true commitment to the values they stand for. Let’s remember the importance of honoring those who have served us. #VeteransDay #HonorOurVeterans #SupportOurVeterans #RespectAndRecognition #VeteranSupport #CorporateResponsibility #EmployeeWellbeing #HonorAndRespect #ThankYouVeterans #InclusiveWorkplace #VeteranAppreciation #WalkTheTalk #ValuesInAction #CorporateCulture #Leadership

Morale of staff is paramount. It contributes a lot to having positive Key performance indicator scores.
The Chief of Defence Staff, Gen. Christopher Musa, has made a heartwarming statement about prioritizing the happiness of his men! He believes that their well-being is crucial to his own effectiveness as a leader, saying "I cannot function if my men are not happy and I will do whatever it takes to make sure that they are happy." This sentiment is a testament to his dedication to supporting our brave soldiers and veterans, and we commend him for his selfless leadership! #LeadershipGoals #SupportOurTroops #happinessmatters
