🚧 This week marks a crucial event in our industry: the National Safety Stand-down to Prevent Falls in Construction. As we pause to reflect on the importance of safety, we're reminded of a sobering reality shared by our President and CEO, Deb Hilmerson. For the 11th consecutive year, Minnesota OSHA, in collaboration with federal OSHA and other stakeholders, is spearheading this initiative from May 6 through 10, 2024. The aim is clear: to raise awareness among employers and workers about the critical need to prevent falls, which tragically account for the highest number of deaths in our industry. During this stand-down, we're calling on employers and workers alike to pause their daily tasks and engage in vital conversations about fall prevention in construction. Let's help our brothers and sisters in the field continue to learn how to keep themselves and others safe.
