Did you know you need to add Google PMax placement exclusions through the UI? Any placement exclusions attempted through the API won't apply to PMax campaigns. It's an unwritten rule of engagement because the Google help documentation doesn't spell that out. Additionally, the UI has the limitation of 5,000 urls at a time (and no excluding Google properties). So if you've been adding placements through a tool and feeling like they haven't been taking, or feeling like your PMax campaigns haven't improved, make sure you add urls through the UI under content control.
