My life during "MBA" vs my life during "CA" Study Pressure: Without a doubt pressure of studying was really high in CA with multiple hundred pages books to cover alongwith coaching and self study. In MBA people passed easily even studying a day before exam. Peer pressure: CA was a study at home course. I hardly met anybody outside of classes. But MBA was all about peer learning, FOMO and dealing with imposter syndrome Placement pressure: MBA was all about getting the best job on campus (atleast that's what everyone says) so it becomes quite competitive and one of the most important time of entire 2 years in the placement season. In CA although placement pressure was high but for most of us becoming a CA was a bigger achievement than anything else Social Life: Needless to say CA has no social life and MBA was full of that Internship: MBA had a 2 month internship while CA had a 3 year articleship which was much much more grueling Overall: I still find CA to be more mentally and physically draining than MBA. However in terms of learning CA goes in much more depth and practicality since MBA teaches a lot of subjects in a short amount of time. #mba #charteredaccountant #iim #iimbangalore #study #ca
Great comparison! It's like comparing a marathon to a sprint. Both have their own challenges and rewards. But hey, at least in MBA you get to have a social life and not feel like a hermit crab. Cheers to all the CAs and MBAs out there!
The academics of both the subjects are also totally different. MBA also involves a lot of on the campus learning and real life case studies of businesses while CA involves the beautiful ability of candidates to handles pressure with patience.❤️🚀 Aekansh Jain
I have a doubt like doing mba after ca will it be too late? Is it a good option to opt for after ca or we should do executive MBA of 1 year?
Thanks for this comparison! Aekansh Jain It’s striking how different the experiences of CA and MBA can be. The intensity of CA studies versus the social and competitive nature of MBA truly shapes our learning and growth in unique ways. Appreciate you sharing your insights!
Thanks for sharing Aekansh Jain

5moAekansh Jain good one...i realised few more... 1 . CA is about more of Finance, Investment, Revenue- Non Revenue compliances assessment...Not much coverage of Business Aspects...Where MBA is different ,if we go in detail.. Some time i feel CA is extension of Govt. officers task i.e. Certification of Information, data etc. by "Independent" Expert for any business before submission to Govt. for compliance and other matter. 2. CA is about Money, MBA is about Money , Men & Machine . Though both are having similarities and differences, we expect more similarity , not differences.
