One year in the bag for Otto! What a journey it has been for Otto Mobility DMCC! While the wider journey spans a much longer period, the contrast between our pre-launch jitters and our current standing is something everyone involved should be immensely proud of. The days of anxiously waiting for our first customer to discover, download, and trust our app feel like a distant memory now, although doubt certainly did make its presence felt. At Otto, our goal was never as flamboyant as wanting to revolutionise the industry or claim to transform the mobility sector. Many others aspire to such grandeur, and we are more than happy to let them take on that challenge. Our aim was simple yet profound: to create a relatable and likeable brand that breaks away from the norm in an otherwise conservative and bland space. Central to this was ensuring our brand values were evident in our product delivery and, most importantly, in every customer interaction. I’m thrilled to say we are well on our way to achieving what we set out to do. A huge thank you to everyone involved. Firstly, to the Otto team who provide exceptional customer service day in and day out. To the brand and marketing teams at Ochre LLC, Fludium, and Igloo for tirelessly driving home our brand vision. And to the tech team at Prime Holding for their continued guidance and impeccable efficiency. For those of you in Tkaronto/#Toronto, you know the Labour Day long weekend brings the #airshow to the #CNE. Watching the air show is a family tradition that I remember fondly doing with my brother and parents as we prepared for the transition from summer vacation to back-to-school. It’s a tradition I continue today as a lifelong learner who views #September as the new year - a time to start afresh, anew, to begin again. 🛩️ 🇨🇦The Canadian Snowbirds have always been the highlight of the air show for me. Watching them do their aerial acrobatics in formation is awe-inspiring. It’s a dance of coming together and moving apart that is based on #trust, #MutualSupport and #SharedSkills. 🇨🇦🪿Humans have learned about flying from birds and geese. Watch the Canadian geese fly in their V formation and you’ll see the similarities. The geese rely on the same principles: trust, mutual support, and a sharing of skills. (Notice how they change who leads. It’s not about leaders and followers, but working together in #community for the shared purpose.) Airpro 2025 strategic period is coming to an end, so we have our last crunch to achieve the targets set for the strategic period few years back before moving our eyes on Airpro 2030 plan." 💚 How would you describe working at Airpro?  "Although Airpro is a big company with more than 1000 employees working around Finland, our low hierarchy makes us agile and adaptable. Coming to work feels like coming home. Our people around the organization appreciate our work community and you can feel it every day at work." 🧘♂️ How do you maintain a work-life balance in your busy role?  "I would rather use the term work-life harmony. Work is a big part of life, and it gives meaning and a sense of success, so my target is to keep work and life in harmony so that they support each other, not balancing between them. When you feel good at work and keep a positive attitude, even if the work is stressful at times, it helps you to be a better person in life in general. When I am not working, I love to be in the forest, run, bike or hike and listen to the silence and breath fresh air.
