Namibia and Kenya launch chamber of commerce: Namibia and Kenya have launched a chamber of commerce to facilitate business between the two countries. During the launch last week in Windhoek, chamber president Elvis Mboya said the goal is to advocate for a conducive business environment, identify business gaps, connect traders and enable them to thrive in both markets. “This chamber represents a significant milestone in strengthening the economic ties between Namibia and Kenya, with a focus on the under-served markets,” said Mboya. According to the president of the chamber, the partnership will also provide members with resources to thrive in business. Moreover, both countries are expected to become premier gateways to the Southern African Development Community and East African Community markets.
