We are happy to share that during the implementation of the #LocalizingSDGs project with Circus Zambia and Ghana Community Radion Network we contributed to the formulation of policy recommendations aimed at enhancing the popularity of SDGs.
In Uganda, one of the standing factors is leveraging existing systems where young people are actively engaged, such as the Parish Development Model (PDM).

It’s mission in progress for us every time we go out there to add up to Ghana/Africa’s development. We exude a deeper sense of purpose, passion, and commitment because we believe the world/Africa can be a better place through little giant strides forward everyday, everywhere. It’s a larger cause that goes beyond just completing tasks or earning a paycheck. We are mission-driven and motivated by a strong sense of duty, responsibility, and personal fulfillment in contributing to something greater than ourselves. The world deserves better, Africa deserves more and it can only come from us citizens. Let’s lead with a higher level of dedication, resilience, and satisfaction in our work, responsibilities and relationships. Mission in progress and the vision is in sight. #keepwalking

Last week, Victoria Garden City (VGC) residents in Lagos, Nigeria, celebrated 30 years of a diverse community within a green environment, hosting over 10,000 people. The anniversary featured a week-long series of activities, including a charity walk, memorial service, sports events, tree planting, an awards night, and my personal favorite, the cultural carnival. Over 7 cultures were showcased, featuring dance, food, materials, and much more.
African culture is incredibly diverse and rich. For example, Edo, a state in Nigeria, is home to five major ethnic groups. This mirrors the continent's extensive history, geographical diversity, and myriad ethnic groups and tribes. Africa truly is a melting pot of traditions, art, music, languages, customs, and beliefs. As Africans, we must preserve our culture for its uniqueness and authenticity.

H.E John Dramani Mahama Promises Inquiry into National Cathedral Project
President John Dramani Mahama has announced an impending audit of the National Cathedral Project making it clear that spending a whopping $400 million on such a project is not in the public interest.
President John Mahama has expressed strong reservations about the National Cathedral project, citing the hefty price tag of $400 million as unreasonable given Ghana's current economic circumstances. He has vowed to investigate the possible misapplication of public funds on the project, as recommended by the Commission on Human Rights and Administrative Justice (CHRAJ).
Instead of continuing with the current development, President Mahama suggests that the Christian community should come together to find a way to execute the project without relying on public funds, considering a more affordable and privately financed approach. He even mentioned that the National Ecumenical Centre in Abuja, Nigeria, was built for a mere $30 million, highlighting the need for a more cost-effective solution.
The President also hinted that the project's location might be reconsidered, leaving room for future discussions among the Christian community.
