There's no easy way or short cut to achieving milestones. It takes hard work, resilience, tenacity and sheer guts and grit.The obstacles and challenges along the way build character and are lessons learnt. Many will give up along their way whereas others stay the course. I have stayed on course for twelve years, and when I say it hasn't all been moonshine and roses, I mean it. There's been many thorns in the road, and at times I felt like throwing in the towel. What has kept me on course is the passion that drives my purpose. Empowering People for a better future and recognition that is deserved empowers people to work even harder. The Woman of Stature Awards celebrating its 10th season in South Africa next year, is a milestone and 12 years of hard work.The credibility of the Woman of Stature Awards is maintained by the ethical process.
