"What does an internship at an early-stage startup look like? I still remember that I interned at an early-stage start-up in my 2nd semester, and believe me, I don’t think that I learned more in any other internship that I did after that! Mainly because as an intern, I was given better quality work! And your work holds value for the company; obviously, you get to have more ownership attached to it as well! Also, your growth within a startup has unlimited upside potential! I have seen people starting as an intern to become 2nd in line to the founder! It’s an established fact that you learn more while interning at a startup, especially an early-stage one! Though, in the end, I still feel there needs to be a balance between maintaining your learning curve as well as making a good profile, just in case you want to have more options beyond that, and maybe look for a proper corporate job! But bagging a PPO from a startup is pretty easy if you perform well enough, and having a job offer at hand gives you a sheer sense of confidence and the freedom to explore more!"
