❓𝗗𝗼 𝘆𝗼𝘂 𝘂𝘀𝗲 𝗰𝗲𝗿𝗲𝗺𝗼𝗻𝗶𝗲𝘀 𝗶𝗻 𝘁𝗶𝗺𝗲𝘀 𝗼𝗳 𝗰𝗵𝗮𝗻𝗴𝗲?   I enjoyed an amazing dragon and lion dance performance this morning. Nothing beats the spectacle of a lion dance. The pounding drums in sync with the clashing cymbals simply reverberate through my whole body. The lion dance and the dragon dance are part of the Chinese culture and tradition.   During the festive period of Chinese New Year, the lion dance and the dragon dance serve as a marker event for me. It tells me to celebrate the new year. The old year is gone, and the new year has come.   As it is with the lion dance, so it is when it comes to dealing with change. As a change leader, you can use ceremonies let people know that the old is gone and the new has come. This is why farewell lunches and closing ceremonies are useful. This is why we participate in the New Year's eve countdown and celebrate the new year with fireworks. You can be creative. According to popular belief, Hernando Cortez, the Spanish conquistador, apparently burnt his ships when he and his men arrived at Veracruz (fact check – he scuttled his ships). This was spectacular.
