The challenge? To encapsulate a sustainable, off-the-grid living space within a mere 300 sq. ft. Each module, crafted from cutting-edge fiber panels, was a testament to the fusion of sustainability and adaptability—core principles of my design philosophy. The ability to rearrange these modules on a whim not only catered to the evolving needs of its inhabitants but also allowed the structure to harmonize with its surroundings, irrespective of the landscape. The journey was filled with moments of both inspiration and introspection, pushing the boundaries of what we perceive as 'tiny'. This project wasn't just about creating a space; it was about redefining the ethos of compact living through the lens of sustainability and innovation. #TinyHouseDesign #ArchitecturalInnovation #SustainableLiving 𝘏𝘰𝘸 𝘥𝘰 𝘺𝘰𝘶 𝘦𝘯𝘷𝘪𝘴𝘪𝘰𝘯 𝘵𝘩𝘦 𝘳𝘰𝘭𝘦 𝘰𝘧 𝘴𝘶𝘴𝘵𝘢𝘪𝘯𝘢𝘣𝘪𝘭𝘪𝘵𝘺 𝘢𝘯𝘥 𝘪𝘯𝘯𝘰𝘷𝘢𝘵𝘪𝘰𝘯 𝘪𝘯 𝘴𝘩𝘢𝘱𝘪𝘯𝘨 𝘵𝘩𝘦 𝘧𝘶𝘵𝘶𝘳𝘦 𝘰𝘧 𝘢𝘳𝘤𝘩𝘪𝘵𝘦𝘤𝘵𝘶𝘳𝘢𝘭 𝘥𝘦𝘴𝘪𝘨𝘯?

Interesting read about how master architects approach architecture design from ideation to building completion #architecture #architect
A glimpse into the Masters’ Methodology 1. Contextual Immersion: Before laying the foundation, they immerse themselves in the site’s history, climate, and cultural nuances. Understanding the context becomes the cornerstone of their design journey. 2. User-Centric Focus: Functionality reigns supreme in their designs. Whether crafting homes, workspaces, or public structures, they prioritize meeting people’s needs above all else. 3. Form Follows Purpose: Witness the emergence of aesthetic elegance from purpose-driven design. Every curve and angle serves a greater function. 4. Material Mastery: From concrete to glass, steel to wood, they expertly blend materials to achieve the perfect balance of strength, sustainability, and allure. 5. Sketching and Iteration: Ideas come to life as pencil meets paper. Through continuous iteration and refinement, their visions evolve into architectural marvels. 6. Constraints as Catalysts: Rather than hindrances, budgets and regulations become catalysts for innovation. They thrive under constraints, pushing the boundaries of what’s possible. #ArchitecturalExcellence #DesignApproach #Architecture #DesignInspiration

This question was asked to us during an interview. We are answering it today ⬇️ Materials are the essence of the structure, the way it is composed, the thickness, textures, and look of it create the tale in the mind of the user to interact or avoid it. At the same time functionality plays a role in guiding spatial planning. Our design approach is simplicity. We play with old and new materials like bamboo and clay to create timeless designs with the precision and efficiency of modern construction. At CLA, Bamboo, and Earth are core materials for us to start our work. They are not just building materials but they are the cornerstones of our vision for sustainable spaces. The capacity to naturally regulate temperature, provide insulation, and create a pleasing environment with modern techniques defines the style of our work. They are durable, long-lasting, and, most importantly, they connect us to the earth in a way that industrial materials cannot. #lifearchitecture #bambooarchitecture #sustainablearchitecture #bamboo #ecodesign #ecofriendly #resortdesign #resortdesigners #sustainabledesign #adobe #bamboodesign #rammedearth #wattleanddaub #naturalmaterials

Imagine a partition that separates but does not divide. Simultaneity and interconnectedness characterize an age in which technology transcends its functional role to become a medium of communication, meaning, and relationship with the world. As a result, the boundary between what can be shared as a collective experience and what remains personal and individual becomes increasingly blurred. In this scenario, public places - such as working spaces - require flexible design solutions that can be readily adapted to the changing needs of people and contexts. To translate these concepts into architecture, we introduce the “Thinking box”, a project conceived by the Canadian studio Renocon Design Center. This partition is a permeable wall made of carbon fiber with the "Random" pattern, featured by a pleasantly chaotic texture that allows two-way tension, thus creating shared yet distinct spaces, which promote connection and responsible collaboration.
