Today, I had the privilege of attending the WellFounded Health Summit - Leaders in Health 2024, and I’m still processing the wealth of knowledge, innovation, and inspiration it delivered. This summit showcased the brightest minds and boldest ideas shaping the future of health and prevention. One of the most remarkable aspects was the diversity of people and perspectives represented. Leaders from science, medicine, technology, industry, media, investment, and even creative arts came together, each bringing unique insights. This melting pot of expertise created a palpable spirit of collaboration. Key takeaways for me included: 👉 Prevention as a priority: By focusing on prevention, we can add not just years to life but quality to those years. 👉 Movement is medicine: Harnessing the power of movement to improve both mental and physical health is a game-changer. 👉 Investment in prevention pays off: Prioritising health innovation does not only provide ROI for investors but also a sustainable path for communities and health services. 👉 The rise of GLP-1 therapies: These treatments are becoming a prominent part of conversations about tackling major health challenges. I want to extend my deep gratitude to the Dr Jack Kreindler and the organisers for curating such a phenomenal experience. The effort, passion, and attention to detail were evident in every aspect of the event. It was fantastic to meet in person so many healthcare innovators: Dr Tom Gedman Dr Emma Presern Dr Linda Mizun to name a few. #HealthInnovation #Longevity #Prevention #WellFounded

This morning, I joined the best minds in the world at the Milken Institute's Future of Health Summit to share the need-to-know health trends we're tracking at The Harris Poll. A key theme at today's conference is how now, more than ever, cross-sector partnerships are needed to drive systemic change in healthcare -- something that even patients are ready to dive into: - 66% of Americans feel they have to be responsible for their own health because no one else seems to care. - 86% are ready to work with their doctors and health professionals to create change in the system. - Yet, 57% worry there won't be systemic change in healthcare for many years. Make sure to check out our full insights here: https://lnkd.in/eYYSgJAy Keep up with everything FHS here: https://lnkd.in/e_QsAxfF Thanks to Esther Krofah and the full Milken health team for inviting and collaborating with us. #MIGlobal #partnership #healthcare #innovation
