I saw this on Facebook the other day, and it made me stop scrolling. I sat, and I looked at it, and I appreciated NOT BEING SOLD A THING. 😌 As a social media manager, I understand the pressure to constantly be selling on your social media, but think of it this way: how nice is it when a brand connects with you *to connect* and not to sell? Just like this billboard, it's a little more comforting, and a lot more memorable than billboards plastered in giant ads (that look similar to their last giant ad). 🥴 This is why non-selling posts (like memes) are SO important on social media. There is a JOY right now in not being sold a single f***ing thing and just getting to enjoy a moment, a joke, a trend *together*. 🤩 You might think "well no one makes any money that way" but again, you're not thinking deep enough. 🧐 When you're seen by someone over 6x they're more likely to buy from you, which means, even if you're not outright selling you'll be REMEMBERED and talked about–and that's what a brand needs in 2024.
