The Aspect Hotel hotel is only 2 mins from the Parkwest Cherry station An Bord Pleanála have approved the Railway Order application to extend the electrified DART network from Hazelhatch & Celbridge to Heuston Station and the South city via Phoenix Park Tunnel. The project will quadruple customer capacity and will provide a greatly enhanced and more sustainable transport option for communities in Hazelhatch & Celbridge, Adamstown, Clondalkin & Fonthill, Parkwest & Cherry Orchard, Drumcondra and at a new station at Heuston West. Queensland destinations are leading the charge with strong growth in revenue outstripping major centres from southern states. Brisbane Economic Development Agency’s 'State of the City Report' highlights that Brisbane experienced a 49% growth in revenue per available room (RevPAR) since Covid, almost double that of Adelaide and Sydney and significantly higher than Hobart, Canberra, and Melbourne. Work to build a temporary car park behind the Holiday Inn on Talbot Road has started this week. The work is being done by George Cox Ltd and is expected to be complete in spring 2025. Preparatory work is taking place from this week, with activity increasing in the new year. The Holiday Inn Blackpool, an IHG Hotel and tram extension opened this summer, as phase two of the Talbot Gateway regeneration around Blackpool North train station.
