I will explain how we met their decarbonisation goals while ensuring the resilient and reliable bus service their customers rely on. I've listed out just a few reminders for you: 🌍 Lower Emissions: Each zero-emission bus reduces carbon emissions by about 70% (46 tonnes) annually compared to a diesel bus. 🔇 Noise Reduction: Allowing for a quieter, more comfortable ride for passengers and a more peaceful atmosphere for the community. 🔧 Reduced Maintenance Costs: At VEV's sister company, @VG Mobility, we have seen electric bus maintenance costs fall by almost 50% vs a diesel bus. 💸 Lower Running Costs: Electric buses are cheaper to run compared to their ICE counterparts, providing economic and environmental benefits.
