If for a moment, I could remove myself from the current focus and look at the decade of 2020’s – I guess a common theme would emerge. Validation engineers are facing an enormous challenge to converge on pre-silicon efforts yielding first-pass silicon. Imagine being a validation engineer for one of the SoCs going into the next generation of your autonomous-driving systems, or the multi-chiplet system to handle the exploding world of LLMs. Dimensions of software, compute, networking, storage are pulling away from each other – and yet the validation team must bound them. Synopsys HAV is empathizing with this community of validation and verification engineers.
