Question : How should agile development for #AI PoC look like❓ Developing AI-powered solutions often presents unique challenges when it comes to adopting agile methodologies. The inherent nature of model experimentation and the evolving requirements during the proof-of-concept (PoC) phase can make it difficult to seamlessly blend agile practices. Traditional agile development thrives on well-defined user stories and a stable backlog. However, in the realm of AI PoCs, the requirements can shift significantly as the team explores different models, algorithms, and data sources. This flexibility is crucial, as the true potential of an AI solution may only become apparent through an iterative process of experimentation and refinement. Hence, AI PoC development needs a slight twist to traditional agile approach. This methodology acknowledges the dynamic nature of AI PoCs and provides a framework that embraces change, encourages rapid iteration, and fosters a collaborative environment between cross-functional teams. Key elements of Agile AI for AI PoCs could include: 👉 Iterative Model Development: Rather than a linear progression, Agile AI encourages a cyclical approach to model development, where teams can quickly test, evaluate, and refine their models based on feedback and new insights. Such model development needs to be coupled with robust data pipelines and infrastructure to enable iterations. 👉 Evolving Requirements: The PoC phase is characterized by a constant evolution of requirements, and Agile AI allows teams to adapt their plans and priorities accordingly, without being constrained by a rigid backlog. 👉 Continuous Feedback and Adaptation: Regular feedback loops and a willingness to adapt based on user and stakeholder input are essential in Agile AI, ensuring that the final solution aligns with the evolving needs of the business. Due to nature of experimentation in model development, traditional agile methods struggle to keep up for AI PoCs. Organizations need to adapt slightly different version of aglie for delivering such PoCs and products. 💡 Quick Tip: As an AI product manager, be prepared to expect changes in schedules and plans due to iterations in model development. Allow some space for experimentation while developing timelines for delivering AI PoCs. #AI #ArtificialIntelligence #productmanagement #productmanager #DataScience

🚀 Exciting Insights from Jeff Sutherland and Joe Krebs on Integrating AI in Scrum! 🚀 I had the privilege of attending a session with Jeff Sutherland, co-creator of the Scrum framework, and Joe Krebs, creator of Agile Kata. The discussion centered around the revolutionary concept of integrating AI into Scrum. 🔍 Key Takeaways: 1. Scrum Master AI: Enhancing monitoring, facilitation, pattern recognition, and risk management. 2. Product Owner AI: Optimizing backlog management, market analysis, and feedback integration. 3. Developer AI: Streamlining code assistance, bug detection, knowledge sharing, and learning. By integrating AI, Jeff suggested to push lower-level functions to autonomous agents, significantly reducing overhead and improving efficiency. The potential to cut down team time spent on sprint planning by 90% is game-changing! 💡 Did You Know? • Productivity Boost: With Microsoft Copilot, productivity increased 5x, leading Microsoft to rehire AI expertise for 80% of layoffs. • Rapid AI Improvement: AI is improving 10x every six months, 500 times faster than Moore’s Law! • Future Projections: Industry analysts project a 30-100x increase in team performance by 2030, driven by Scrum@Scale. • AI in Teams: By 2030, AI tools are expected to be integral members of all Scrum teams, reshaping the future of Agile. 🤖 AI in Action: From selecting and estimating stories to improving wording and creating buffers based on patterns, AI is poised to transform every component of Scrum, making teams more agile and productive. The future of Agile is here, and it’s powered by AI. Thank you, Jeff Sutherland and Joe Krebs, for sharing these invaluable insights! #Agile #Scrum #AI #ProjectManagement #Innovation #ArtificialIntelligence
