In November 2023 - with support from USAID, UK’s Foreign, Commonwealth and Development Office, Bill & Melinda Gates Foundation and DAI - our team at Beanstalk AgTech authored a “State of the Sector” report looking at the past, present, and future of #digital #AgTech in low- and middle-income countries across South(East) Asia, Sub-Saharan Africa, and the Latin America and Caribbean regions. We spoke to >250 thought leaders and practitioners across >60 countries, surveyed hundreds more, and held a series of regional and thematically-aligned workshops to help get us there. Our collective intention was to provide more than a set of case studies, statistics, and forecasts that will sit in reports and presentation decks to come. Rather, our focus was on generating data- and insight-driven, stakeholder specific ideas for action that could help drive an impactful, inclusive, climate-smart, and commercially-viable future for the sector that inertia and market forces are likely not to do alone. We’ve spent the months since putting our pens down 🖊️ putting our organizing hats 🎩, working with IDH and learning from >60 leaders in the field to structure 5 backable multi-stakeholder partnership concepts to translate some of our report’s most critical recommendations into action. We are on the hunt for more feedback and partners that will help us adapt these further in national and value chain contexts. Join us tonight to hop into the discussion and learn more about how you can be involved!

At BEAM CropTech, we understand that the basis of all innovation is science, and our institutional partners are proof of this. Thanks to the support and collaboration of Universidad de Buenos Aires (UBA) and the National Council for Scientific and Technical Research, called CONICET, we have developed our PHOTOSYNTER technology from basic science to a scalable product. 🚜🌱 The UBA and CONICET have granted us the license to develop and commercialize this innovative technology that enhances photosynthesis in crops. This enables producers to increase their yields without expanding agricultural borders. 💡🌍 With the seal of "HECHO en UBA" and the support of CONICET, we have brought Argentine science to the countryside, where we help crops utilize sunlight more efficiently on every hectare, resulting in greater sustainable production. 🌿 This collaboration between institutions and private companies demonstrates the value of local innovation applied to global problems such as food security and sustainability in agricultural production. If you want to know more about how we work together with these institutions to transform agriculture, visit www.beamcroptech.com.ar #UBA #CONICET #agtech #FOTOSYNTER #innovation #BeamCropTech
