I am excited to share that my team and I have successfully completed our final year project, "Aquatic Chordate Guidance." This innovative app is designed to support farmers in starting and managing a fish farming business with ease and efficiency. •Project Overview "Aquatic Chordate Guidance" offers comprehensive support for fish farmers, providing crucial information and guidance from start to finish. The app covers various aspects, including: Feed Management:Helps farmers track and manage fish feed schedules and quantities. Cost Management: Assists in monitoring and controlling expenses related to fish farming. Disease Management: Offers solutions and preventive measures for common fish diseases. Water Quality Monitoring:Utilizes real-time monitoring to ensure optimal water conditions for fish health. Daily Reminders: Sends text messages to farmers, reminding them of essential tasks and checks. •Tool Backend: Developed using Kotlin, ensuring robust and efficient backend processes. Frontend: Designed with XML, providing a user-friendly and intuitive interface. Database: Firebase integration for secure and reliable data storage. •Team Members: Asad Ali Worked on both frontend and backend, ensuring seamless integration and functionality. Muhammad Waseem Focused on backend development using Kotlin, enhancing the app's core functionalities. Usama Imran Planned and designed the frontend, creating an intuitive and attractive user interface with XML. •Next Steps: We are currently making some final adjustments and improvements to the app. Soon, it will be available on the Play Store, making it accessible to everyone. A story of happy agro researcher 🌱 Who needed leaf area measurements of buckwheat crops. Both control plants and biostimulant-treated plants. ⁓670 leaves in total. He already knew about mobile app Petiole Pro. But tapping on each leaf could take hours. Hence, he contacted us. He sent his photos to us. In 24 hours he got ALL leaf area measurements in CSV. Hey #connections, I’m thrilled to share that our project, GroOth, has been ranked #5 internationally at CalCode Fest 2024! 🌟 #GroOth simplifies tree planting, helping users combat climate change effectively. By analyzing location and soil type, our app recommends the best plants and provides care reminders and growth tips. A huge shoutout to the amazing  #GroOth team for their hard work and dedication. This achievement wouldn’t have been possible without the immense contribution of Sarvshresth Sharma and Bhavesh Saad Here is a glimpse of what we made during the period of 3 days. My focus was on crafting the UI of the app and finally we integrated the backend with the frontend during the period of 3 days. For backend, we used Gemini API to fetch the plants data based on user's location then these data are feed to unsplash API to fetch the respective images and all these datas are finally shown in the app. Stay tuned for more updates as we expand GroOth to Android and iOS, making plant care even easier and more accessible. #gemini #flutter #googlefordevs
