It's monsoon season in the desert and mountain communities. Stay safe out on the road..... “Pull Aside, Stay Alive”: 1) Immediately check traffic around your vehicle (front, back and to the side) and begin slowing down. 2) Do not wait until poor visibility makes it difficult to safely pull off the roadway -- do it as soon as possible. Completely exit the highway if you can. 3) Do not stop in a travel lane or in the emergency lane. Look for a safe place to pull completely off the paved portion of the roadway. 4) Turn off all vehicle lights, including your emergency flashers. You do not want other vehicles approaching from behind to use your lights as a guide, possibly crashing into your parked vehicle. 5) Set your emergency brake and take your foot off the brake. 6) Stay in the vehicle with your seat belts buckled and wait for the storm to pass. 7) Drivers of high-profile vehicles should be especially aware of changing weather conditions and travel at reduced speeds. https://lnkd.in/gsVjAGHq #ESOP #transportation #logistics #supplychain #monsoon

October is #FallCarCareMonth, and we're sharing a few tips to help you prep your vehicle to transition from the summer months! 🍂🚘 • Test your battery to ensure it’s healthy. If it’s older than three years, consider replacing it. • Rotate your tires to help ensure even wear. • Check your tire pressure once a month (as cold weather approaches, weather conditions can cause tires to lose air quickly). • Replace cracked or worn wiper blades to be prepared for the rain or snow. For a thorough check, stop by your local Big O Tires or Midas International shop!
