How are your cleaners trained? Have you ever taken the time to review their policies for training new cleaners? New managers? At AHI, for example, all new hires must complete a required technical training and orientation. All managers are mentored with an experienced employee. Routine safety audits are conducted to be sure all standards are met by all employees. Be sure any service you opt to entrust your business’s cleaning needs with is as thorough with the hiring process as AHI Facility Services Inc. and its routine practices. #AHI #AHIFacilityServices #ProfessionalCleaningServices #training #mentoring

As a training manager, preparation is key to success. Here are some tips to help you get started: 1. Develop a clear plan for your department and share it with your staff. Explain it thoroughly to ensure everyone is on the same page. 2. Set achievable goals for the next year and clarify the results you expect to achieve. These results should be effective and measurable since it's your first year in management. 3. Assign roles and duties to each staff member based on their skills and knowledge. Consider recognizing positive results with rewards and incentives. 4. Establish department policies that prioritize high-priority tasks and address any conflicts of interest. 5. Lead by example. Remember, you are a leader, not a boss. Maintain a professional culture and avoid letting emotions interfere with your department's operations. By following these steps, you can prepare for your first training manager role and set yourself up for success. Good luck 👍 #safety #hse #nebosh #nsc #سلامة #سيفتي #osha #ksa

Bringing new workers into the industry is a valuable opportunity to shape how they approach their careers, especially when it comes to safety. By prioritizing safe work practices from day one, we’re not just teaching them the rules—we’re building a culture that values responsibility, safety, and long-term well-being. Whenever I train new staff, I make sure to highlight the safety-critical aspects of the job. This not only helps them grasp the importance of working safely but also fosters a positive safety culture that extends to the entire organisation. By instilling the correct mentality towards safety during training, we can address the long-term complacency toward risk that exists in every industry. #SafetyFirst #SafetyCulture #Mentorship

Supervisor Training: Day 2 is now available on YouTube. In this video, we continue to build a working alliance and create alignment. We begin to look at the role of the supervisor as defined by the U.S. Department of Labor. The new supervisor is invited to score themselves in terms of their competence in each of the tasks listed in the standard occupational description. The supervisor is invited to identify a few tasks that they would like to improve on. These self identified areas of improvement will inform the direction that the training program takes. https://lnkd.in/ed5e7RV8
