Today we announced a new AI accelerator program supporting European startups in integrating open foundation models like Meta Llama into their products. We’re doing this in partnership with the awesome teams at Hugging Face and Scaleway. Based out of STATION F in Paris, the aim is to accelerate innovation, drive business growth and strengthen the European tech ecosystem. Encouraging and enabling more people to build with open technologies is what moves our industry forward and I can’t wait to see the exciting new products and ideas that come out of this accelerator. Is there a similar program for US based startups?
We are thrilled to be part of this new phase of the program alongside Meta, Hugging Face, and Scaleway! Let's make it happen and make it big! 🚀
I created a course called the AI Writers Guild where we write a novel in a year with middle school students using ChatGPT as an assistant. Could I use Llama instead of ChatGPT this year? Or is it not the same thing? Happy to chat about migrating to Llama. We're in Huntsville, AL. So, we have a Meta here in our town.
This is awesome!!! 🎉 We at Iara Health are playing with Llama3 on Groq in the writting of radiological reports. We are fascinated by the quality and speed 🤗 Would such a program be extended to Latin America?
@meta don't give up on the UK yet. We are getting a new Government and will therefore be a great time to do something similar in London.
Outstanding!!! We are using Llama 3 in our game theory - ai - finance/legal strategy software StratXcel - We have tried many but Llama 3 rules at the moment :)
Why does meta trying to hype generative AI just feel a bit off or wrong? Aren't they the ones chasing the metaverse and other Zuckerberg things. To imagine that a digital advertising company is going to make lasting contributions to large language models just feels a bit absurd at this point. But thanks for llama anyway.
Great program, I hope you can consider the Middle East and South Africa region
Great stuff. What about supporting evals as well?
only for already existing startups or also for new ones?
