I once faced imminent death under pitiless assault, but my spirit was never crushed or broken. Now, I am one of the unsung heroes who fought for a noble cause. Patriotism stood above all, and I did whatever it took to earn a place at the centre stage of our nation. Here, I reflect on those turbulent times, revealing the truth about a historic campaign that changed the trajectory of the war. Liberty comes at a cost, often demanding the blood of freedom fighters. Time and again, it needs blood to nurture it, and we gave our precious blood for it. Now, it is this nation’s turn to remember the martyrs’ names. They willfully stepped into a hell of fire, certain of their fate. This is a short story of how highly held and treasured principles of freedom were dismissed, how concepts were replaced by empty pride and moral compromise, and how adherence to the rule of law became irrelevant. I believe this to be one of the best interpretations of that precise event, reflecting the voices of veterans, martyrs, and the challenging moments that kept us alive in dehumanising conditions. What kind of courage and bravery does it take for an ordinary volunteer soldier to fight for a cause? It was a calamitous resistance battle with losses at the highest level. This book is not only a tribute to my contribution but to all veterans and martyrs who perished during our noble cause. It is an impressive testament to selflessness. Having been involved in the war, I know many people volunteered their lives for the cause. I am amazed that this will bring great joy to the families and friends of veterans and martyrs as I rekindle memories in the minds of old-timers like myself and others. More importantly, it will make veterans proud of their bravery and unbroken spirits of total devotion in solidarity and camaraderie. It sheds light on and touches upon the issues of the time, raising questions that have troubled us repeatedly. It provides profound insight into the painful experiences we endured.

# it was really my pleasure to participate in this foundation, and help in making this video. Children are among the most vulnerable victims of war. They endure physical injuries from bombs, bullets, and other weapons, as well as psychological trauma from witnessing violence, losing loved ones, and being displaced from their homes. Overall, the war on children robs them of their innocence, safety, and future opportunities. It perpetuates cycles of violence and suffering, undermining the principles of human rights and dignity. Protecting children from the horrors of war and investing in their well-being is essential for building a more peaceful and just world. Children experiencing war undergo significant challenges that can profoundly affect their physical, emotional, and cognitive growth. War often leads to malnutrition, inadequate healthcare, and exposure to dangerous environments. As a result, children may suffer from stunted growth, delayed milestones, and long-term health issues, impacting their overall physical development.
War disrupts children’s social environments, separating them from friends, family members, and supportive communities. Protecting children from the ravages of war and providing them with the necessary support and resources for recovery and growth is essential for building resilient and thriving communities. War isn’t a solution for anyone or any problem. Children always paid for this, they suffered, died, and lost their homes and maybe even families! War never ends, stops, or even solves problems. War always causes more war. So please, stop the war on children! #stopwaronchildren #stopwar

Happy 4th of July! 🎇 As many of us here in the United States of America (USA) enjoy the holiday spending time with family and friends; soaking up the sunshine, and eating some delicious food.... Let's remember: 🎇 The Revolutionary War which was the stimulus for the independence we celebrate today in the USA, was from 1775 - 1783. 🎇 The majority of the battles were fought in New York, New Jersey, and South Carolina. These colonies witnessed more than 200 skirmishes and battles during the war. 🎇 Engagements were fought in every colony (New Hampshire, New York, New Jersey, Massachusetts, Rhode Island, Connecticut, Pennsylvania, Maryland, Virginia, North Carolina, South Carolina, Georgia). 🎇 Beyond these original thirteen colonies, additional military actions occurred in today's states of Tennessee, Arkansas, Indiana, Illinois, Kentucky, Alabama, and Florida. 🎇 During the war an estimated 6,800 Americans were killed in action, 6,100 wounded, and 20,000 plus soldiers were taken prisoner. 🎇 An estimated 17,000 Americans died of disease. It is further estimated that 8,000 - 12,000 of these Americans were prisoners of war, with many of them being held in British prison ships in the New York Harbor. 🎇 The daily ration for a soldier in the Continentaltal Army under normal conditions included: 1 ½ pounds of flour or bread 1 pound of beef or fish OR ¾ pound of pork 1 gill of whiskey 🎇 The daily rations for a soldier in the British army under normal conditions included: 1 ½ Pounds flour or Bread 1 pound of beef or ½ pound of pork ¼ pint of canned Peas or 1 ounce of rice 1 ounce of butter 1 ½ gills of Rum https://lnkd.in/eNecYiYH Let's say a prayer of gratitude for those who went before us and remember those currently deployed across the globe on our behalf. 🌎 #Happy4thofJuly #HappyIndepenceDay #America #honorthefallen #Remembereveryonedepolyed

Reflecting on 9/11: A Day That Changed the World Today, we remember the tragic events of September 11, 2001, a day that forever altered the course of history. Nearly 3,000 lives were lost, and with them, countless families were changed forever. In the face of unspeakable loss, we also witnessed incredible acts of heroism—from first responders who ran toward danger to ordinary people who stepped up to help however they could. The impact of 9/11 rippled far beyond that single day. It reshaped our world—our security, our politics, our communities. It ignited wars that spanned decades, leaving lasting scars for both soldiers and civilians. Many are still living with the effects of that day, carrying the weight of loss and sacrifice. As we remember those we lost, let’s also honor the strength, courage, and resilience shown in the aftermath. For many, 9/11 marked not just a day of tragedy but a turning point in how we came together—as a nation, as communities, and as individuals. On this anniversary, I encourage all of us to reflect on the lessons of that day, and to strive for greater understanding, empathy, and peace. May we never forget, and may we always work toward a better future in the memory of those who were lost. #NeverForget #911Remembrance #Resilience #Courage

What it is with the Government that they can't find money for housing, care, health, eduction and other actual essentials....but they can find money for war? What kind of upside-down world do we live in that those apparently in charge are even OK with suggesting (not demanding yet but give it time) that we might even need conscription for these pointless and ill-conceived wars? It's nuts and we need to say no and keep saying no #conscription #war #warmongering https://lnkd.in/eJcvAvEi
How come we can afford TO GO TO WAR?
