APAC has the largest combined population and its logical that AI application and adoption will be one of the highest in the region. With a large number of school going children and college attending young adults, AI is set to fly high to aid teaching professionals including even parents like me who ask Co-Pilot on general science questions that are challenging to solve. Like all new technology, it will have to interact with us over time, adapt and fine tune to better perform and raise the bar in whatever we do. AI is all set to support our daily lives and businesses. Let's all enjoy and harness on this new tech! #microsoftai #microsoft #ai #copilot #microsoftcopilot

I'm grateful to have the opportunity to attend the USG AI Summit over the last 2 days, hosted by the University System of Georgia. It was an inspiring event, bringing together thought leaders, educators, AI experts, and technologists - focused on the future of AI in education and beyond. Here are a few key takeaways I’m excited to share: * Personalized Learning & AI Tutors: AI-powered chatbots and customized learning platforms are really changing the game. These tools give students a judgment-free space to ask questions and engage with material on their own terms, helping create a more inclusive and supportive environment. * AI in Healthcare: The potential here is huge. A standout for me was learning about AI-driven skin cancer detection, which is making a real difference, especially in areas where access to specialists is limited. * Collaboration Drives Innovation: The most impactful AI solutions don’t happen in isolation. Partnerships across different sectors are crucial to building AI technologies that are both innovative and truly make a difference. We also covered critical topics like data quality, how faculty can adopt AI, and integrating new tech with current systems. These conversations were full of valuable insights into both the challenges and opportunities AI brings to higher education. Having industry leaders like Google, Microsoft, OpenAI, Accenture, and others in the room made the event even more insightful. I particularly enjoyed connecting with CIOs from different universities and learning about impressive initiatives like the University of Florida's Hipergator computing system. One key takeaway that stood out was the focus on continuous learning. With AI moving so quickly, staying adaptable and informed is essential (we can’t always predict what’s next!). The sessions gave a great overview of both where AI is today and where it’s heading, from big-picture exploration to practical, real-world implementation. Huge thanks to the University System of Georgia for putting together such a great event. I’m looking forward to applying these insights and continuing to innovate and explore in the AI space. #USGAISummit #GeorgiaTech #AI #Innovation #Education #Technology #CollaborationIsKey

What can we expect to see in Ai, in the coming year? Eric Schmidt delivered an inspiring session at Stanford University School of Engineering, sharing that we will witness the following: 1. Very large Context Windows, which can be used as short term memory 2. Agents, aka chatbots 3. Text-To-Action, LLMs which will learn through action It’s not in their independence that we we will observe strength, but rather in the unity of all three combined. Schmidt quotes, “when they are delivered at scale, it’s going to have an impact on the world, at a scale that no one understands yet.” Hydropower’s the demanded Canadian resource that will power the future, not that I was surprised to hear that part. I also read somewhere else on LinkedIn this morning, that new research reports are indicating that +70% of Gen Z graduates (from 1,000 surveyed) are lacking confidence in navigating GenAi when applying to join today’s workforce. There is so much work to be done across education globally, across corporate ecosystems, and across the general worldwide population - including awareness & skills building opportunities for all. Be at the forefront of organisations who are enabling and empowering their people to gain awareness, understanding, and future-ready skills. Don’t wait until it’s too late, let’s empower the future…together! #ai #llm #EdTech #womeninai #future #education #digital #technology #digitalstrategy #digitaltransformation #transformation #thefutureisnow
