We need more regulation for event medical provision at events full stop. It’s time to stop using medical provision as a tick box exercise and choosing the cheapest provider and putting cost over people’s lives. I’ve lost count where people are more animated and interested in the number of toilets and urinals that there available instead of the inadequate level of medical provision. I must stress, this isn’t all events but it is becoming more and more it feels. More regulation, better and clearer “guidance”, more accountability. Just my personal view.

From Coldplay concerts to Diljit Dosanjh live shows, the demand for such event tickets on online platforms is booming. Sumit, you raise a crucial point. It's disheartening to see how festivals, meant for unity and celebration, can become exclusive. Effective crowd management is key to ensuring everyone feels welcome and safe. We need to work towards making these events truly accessible for all, regardless of their background. Sumit Mishra

It's disheartening to see how status can overshadow the true spirit of our festivals. We need to prioritize inclusivity over exclusivity, especially in such iconic places like Lalbaugcha Raja. A festival should be a celebration for all, not just the privileged few. Effective crowd management by authorities, such as the Mumbai Police, is essential to ensure that all attendees can enjoy these cultural celebrations without feeling marginalized. It is crucial to preserve the essence of community and accessibility for everyone, regardless of their financial standing. LinkedIn LinkedIn for Learning

Disclaimer: Live concerts don't really excite me. Throughout my teenage years, parental restrictions and financial constraints kept me away from them. And by the time I had the freedom & means, the allure had faded. But this post is for March 16th, 2024, when my child cajoled me into attending an Ed Sheeran concert—a 9-hour trek that turned out to be Magical. This #singersongwriter with the sweetest smile taught me so many cool lessons! Thumbs Up 1) Talent Shines: #edsheeran can create unlimited tracks live on stage with a loop pedal and acoustic guitar, it's simply remarkable to witness. 2) Sincerity wins, everytime: Ed Sheeran sang LIVE continuously for 180 minutes. Not a single lip synced song, nor a single low in his energy. 3) Fairness to all: While one of the artists focused on only one side of the crowd, Sheeran and Calum Scott used the magnificent, rotating stage to engage everyone there! 4) Exceeding expectations: The unexpected appearances of @Diljeet Dosanjh and @Armaan Malik had the crowd happily losing their minds. 5) A sprinkle of Bollywood and humor never fails to spice things up! Thumbs down 1. Sustainability anyone? Each of the 50,000 participants were given multiple of 250 ml bottles (without caps 🙄). Wasn't there a more sustainable solution? 2. Exit Exodus: Getting in and out of the venue was a nightmare. Despite multiple exit options, people from different parts of Mumbai were crammed through the same bottleneck. 3. Missing in Action: The production and stage detailing raised the bar for live entertainment in India, but admiration turned to disappointment when most of the logistics staff vanished at night. It felt like once they had our money, organisers couldn't care less about safety. 4. Hunger Games: Food lines rivaled those at refugee camps, and to make matters worse, Digital payments were insisted upon even though every mobile network was jammed. That said, just a few minor adjustments if addressed, can make India emerge as a force that cannot be ignored for musicians worldwide. photo credit: thehindu.com. #ConcertStruggles #FinancialConstraints #MagicalExperience #EdSheeranConcert #TrainingAndCoaching #EngagingAudiences #LivePerformance #AuthenticityWins #FairTreatment #GlobalRecognition

Do we celebrate festivals just for the fun and festivities? 🎉💼 In my opinion, festivals mean so much more: 🔸 𝐂𝐮𝐥𝐭𝐮𝐫𝐞 & 𝐓𝐫𝐚𝐝𝐢𝐭𝐢𝐨𝐧: They’re about staying connected to our roots. Festivals remind us of our heritage and bring families and communities together. It’s like celebrating shared traditions that make us feel united! 👨👩👧👦 🔸 𝐁𝐮𝐬𝐢𝐧𝐞𝐬𝐬 & 𝐄𝐜𝐨𝐧𝐨𝐦𝐲: But as the director of e-Water Mission India Pvt. Ltd., I feel there’s also a significant side to festivals when it comes to business. They create opportunities for local businesses, boost sales, and spark innovation. So, festivals help our economy grow, too! 📈💼 In short, 𝒇𝒆𝒔𝒕𝒊𝒗𝒂𝒍𝒔 𝒃𝒍𝒆𝒏𝒅 𝒕𝒓𝒂𝒅𝒊𝒕𝒊𝒐𝒏 𝒘𝒊𝒕𝒉 𝒆𝒄𝒐𝒏𝒐𝒎𝒊𝒄 𝒃𝒆𝒏𝒆𝒇𝒊𝒕𝒔, making them a win for everyone. ✨ How do festivals make a difference in your life? I’d love to hear your thoughts in the comments! 🌸👇 #Culture #Tradition #Festivals #Entrepreneurship #LocalEconomy #BusinessGrowth #eWMI
