Less than 2% of startups get into Y Combinator 😳 Here’s what you'd learn if you're fortunate enough to get in: 1. 𝐄𝐯𝐞𝐫𝐲𝐭𝐡𝐢𝐧𝐠 𝐘𝐂 𝐭𝐞𝐚𝐜𝐡𝐞𝐬 𝐢𝐧 𝟏𝟎 𝐌𝐢𝐧𝐮𝐭𝐞𝐬 https://lnkd.in/gBRU-nFV 2. The landscape will transform the day companies like Y Combinator go in search of startups instead of the other way around. That’s the power of a truly exceptional startup. If a startup has the right team, a solid idea, and a robust revenue model, it won’t need to chase investors—Y Combinator will come to them. Imagine a world where, instead of 2%, nearly all startups with potential receive the support they need to scale. Jai Shree Ram 🚩

Did Y Combinator study the East Indias Company? Their "GTM" methods seem..familiar. Such "global" innovators. Their localisation knowhow has been...impressive. Lots of "global scale" - King Kong style. What #insurance do they have? Gonna go read the new #founder bible by Brian Chesky on "how to hack markets to become a Global leader" - Airbnb has been magical with no consequences.

Yeah, cuz their model only benefits them You're forced to give 10% of equity to cofounders and no experienced CTO will work for equity in 2024+, so you're forced to bring new people that will make many mistakes

Had some not-so-great cofounderships before figuring out how to build a great one. Now helping you skip to the good part.

Great collection. The flip side is what they don’t teach those 2%. Arguably the mistakes are just as valuable as the happy path lessons. Gotta have both to be really dangerous.

Better to start a business owning all of it and not in debt.
