ELHAMDULILLAH, our latest research has been published in the prestigious Applied Intelligence journal (Impact Factor: 3.4). In collaboration with the exceptional Prof. Kévin Bouchard, this work aims to enhance fall detection using UWB radars. Our research has revealed promising applications of fall detection technology across various industries: ✅ Healthcare: Supporting rapid responses for elderly individuals, hospital patients, and those in rehabilitation programs. ✅ Smart Homes: Delivering privacy-focused fall detection seamlessly integrated with home automation systems. ✅ Occupational Safety: Enhancing safety in high-risk workplaces and ensuring secure environments in public and private spaces. ✅ Sports & Fitness: Providing critical safety measures for athletes during high-risk activities. ✅ Emergency Response: Assisting disaster management, search and rescue missions, and passenger safety in transportation. 🚨 Reaching out to my network for help! 🚨 I’m currently working on a project related to Indoor Air Quality (IAQ) and its impact on cognitive performance and productivity. Specifically, I’m looking for any open-source models or frameworks that can help simulate the effects of IAQ parameters like CO₂, VOCs, temperature, and humidity on human performance. I'm particularly interested in: Any models related to the COGfx study from Harvard, which explores how improved indoor air quality enhances cognitive function. The IAQpro framework, an open-source tool that was mentioned in previous discussions. It seems like the repository is no longer available, and I’d love to know if anyone has worked with this model or knows where it can still be accessed. At our Thermal Power Station, we have commenced a pilot implementation of real-time AI-based safety monitoring during unit Overhaul. This initiative integrates advanced AI technologies to proactively enhance workplace safety by detecting and reporting unsafe conditions and unsafe acts in real-time. The system incorporates features such as PPE detection, unsafe act and unsafe conditions identification, hazard communication thus ensuring continuous monitoring with minimal human intervention. Cameras with night vision, auto non-compliance detection, and real-time alerts are being deployed across critical locations. I am excited to be a part of this project which marks a significant step in leveraging technology for achieving "Zero Harm" at our station, aligning with NTPC's commitment to Safety, operational excellence and innovation. #SafetyFirst #ArtificialIntelligence #WorkplaceInnovation #NTPC
