🌟 Get More Clients: Go Beyond the Outfit 🌟 While our stunning outfit displays often catch the eye, there's a deeper layer to our work that's just as essential—communication! 🗣️👗 You may believe that a beautiful gallery of styled looks is all it takes to draw clients in but I suggest you stop and consider these images through the eyes of potential clients. While these visuals are powerful, they're just the start of our journey with a client. Think about it—how often have you seen an outfit you loved but had questions or hesitations? Every client experiences this! As personal stylists, our magic isn't just in the wardrobe; it's in our ability to connect, understand, and respond to our client's objections, hesitations, and limiting beliefs. Here’s why embracing these can change the game: 🎯Build Trust - Engaging with clients about their style fears and needs helps build trust. The more you communicate, the more they see you as a guide, not just a stylist. 🎯Tailored Advice - Each client is unique. When you discuss their preferences and concerns, you tailor your advice, making your service invaluable. 🎯Long-Term Relationships - Clients return when they feel heard and understood. Answering questions and overcoming objections turns a one-time consultation into a lasting relationship. 🔥 Tip: Next time you post an outfit, invite your followers to ask questions or share concerns. Use these interactions as a chance to demonstrate your expertise and your dedication to getting your clients the results they desire. Let's show the world that personal styling is more than just visuals—it's a conversation! 💬💕

3 Reasons Why You Should Hire A Personal Stylist Many clients are overwhelmed seeing a closet that’s so full yet so lacking; looking for an outfit to wear but couldn’t find anything?! Study shows that the average person only wears 20% of their closet on a regular basis! 👀 1) A Stylist will encourage you to face your fears, go through each and every piece that you have, let go of the things that you are not wearing and come up with a curated wardrobe full of pieces that are hand-picked to make you look and feel good. 2) Identifying the problem vs. Stuffing it to the brim The ultimate goal is having key pieces–clothes that perfectly fit your proportions and ones that you can use on different occasions. With a Personal Stylist’s expertise and eye for detail, you can get guidance in finding clothes, fabrics, and patterns that both fit and flatter your body. 3) Save Money+ Time In the long run, getting a Stylist is more cost-efficient than doing it yourself. Providing a straightforward yet effective process on how to style yourself... Preventing the trouble of exploring for long hours on fashion trial-and-error... Saving you from buying clothes that don’t fit well + panic buys!

A question I get asked frequently is, “How does one know if they need a stylist?” One clear sign that you might benefit from a stylist is when you have a closet full of clothes but struggle to find pieces that truly reflect how you want to present yourself. This disconnect can be frustrating, especially when you’re trying to convey a specific image—be it professional, casual, or adventurous. If you find yourself often saying, “I have nothing to wear,” despite a wardrobe bursting at the seams, it may be time for an objective eye to help you curate a collection that aligns with your personal style. A stylist can help you identify gaps in your wardrobe and suggest pieces that harmonize with your vision, making the act of getting dressed a more enjoyable and fulfilling experience. Additionally, if your closet feels disorganized or cluttered, and you struggle to put together outfits for different occasions—whether for work, play, or travel—it’s a strong indication that professional guidance could be beneficial. A stylist can assist in organizing your wardrobe, helping you sort through what you own and determine what truly serves your lifestyle. This process not only frees up physical space but also mental space, allowing you to approach your wardrobe with clarity and intention. Finally, if you’re looking to update your personal style but feel overwhelmed by where to begin, a stylist can provide inspiration, strategies, and a roadmap to help you discover and embrace a refreshed look that feels both authentic and empowering. In essence, recognizing the need for a stylist can stem from a variety of challenges—be it a lack of personal expression in your wardrobe, disorganization, or simply a desire for change. Seeking professional assistance can be a transformative step, allowing you to unlock your style potential and navigate your wardrobe with confidence. After all, the way we dress is not just about clothing; it’s about expressing who we are and how we wish to be perceived in both our personal and professional lives. If any of these scenarios resonate with you, it may be time to take the leap and consult with a stylist who can help you redefine your style journey. Let’s chat.

Dressing well is a skill. That's right, it's something you learn, it's not a gift or a birthright, it's a skill. I'm going to break that down a little. There is no doubt that certain people just get it, we have a natural affinity to and understanding of shape, colour and pattern and, for these people dressing well and looking their best is certainly done with more ease and takes less effort and thought than for others, but these people aren't the only people who can look their best selves every day. What I've discovered during my time as a stylist and a mens clothier is that just like any other skill the basics, tricks and tips of the trade and strategies to develop your own style can be taught and learned. This gives you a couple of options. The first, is to teach yourself. There is endless content on Youtube, TikTok and other channels about how to look your best, but beware just because someone is creating content doesn't mean it's the right content for you, for your shape, age, colour pallete or demographic, so it can be a bit hit-and-miss and certainly will take time and dedication to get right. Method two, is to pay someone, a tried and tested successful tactic for well dressed celebreties and high net worth individuals worldwide. It however can be accessable and simple to organis for everyone The same way that bricklaying is a skill, or doing double entry bookkeeping or fixing an alternator is a skill which we tend to pay someone else to help with, so is looking your best. Whether it's personal shopping, a personal styling session or visiting a clothier for a made-to-measure suit all of these are great ways of outsourcing looking great, any good stylyist, clothier or tailor will be more than willing to give you advice and help with your journey. Finally, there's what mose people do at the moment, trial and error. Buy something, wear it and decide if it worked, it's time consuming, expensive and let's face it can be demoralising. It should be your last resort not your first choice. Just because it's what everyone else does doesn't mean it's the right move for you. Get in touch and let's have a chat about I can help you dress better and look your best. James. #personalstylist #lookgoodfeelgood #luxuryexperience
