This is great news for startups working with drones and unmanned vehicles, which are considered "dual-use" products (can be used for both military and civil purposes): ✅The EIB has removed the rule requiring a company to have at least 50% of sales from the civil sector. This requirement was outdated, considering that the highest demand today is for surveillance drones mainly used for military applications. 🎉 Nettle TOC Completes BL.INC Acceleration Program! 🎉 From November 30, 2023, to February 29, 2024, the Nettle TOC team successfully completed the BL.INC acceleration program. During this intensive period, we worked diligently with program experts to develop a new strategy for our project. The program covered essential topics such as business development, marketing, financial management, intellectual property, subsidies and investments, and, of course, pitching. We now have a clear roadmap for our next steps and are preparing for a significant pivot. Yesterday I was guest at the Intermodal Meetup hosted by Modility GmbH. Thank you very much for the interesting discussion about Corporate Startup Collaborations Ronja Stoffregen, Hendrik-Emmanuel Eichentopf and Martin Neuendorf as well as the invitation Nils Funke. 💡 I observe that more an more companies are practicing the Venture Clienting approach. What is interesting for me: Assuming that many core business problems are similar across companies, everybody is looking for the same solutions. 🤝 It therefore makes sense to join forces within an industry in order to find common solutions. I could imagine that Multi Corporate Venture Clienting could be the next evolution of this approach. 💫 We have been using a very similar approach for two years now in our Energy Transmission Ecosystem – and so far that leads to an increased innovation speed by lower cost.
