Here is a little behind the scenes to what we do: a client came to us for support at the F1 race. We started by ensuring that all details where planned. And as we were expecting, in the relaxed atmosphere of the race, they got to connect with their clients on a deeper level. It showed us how important these moments are for building strong relationships in business. But the main approach I have to planning this come from a personal preference of mine: if you know me you know I don’t like giving or receiving gift cards. Why? Because it's about showing that even if I miss the mark, I took the time and mental effort to try to get them someone something they like, and actually thought about them. This applies to clients too. Taking care of their needs during the event (in this case simple ear plugs, power banks or drinks) shows you're thinking about them and seeing their reaction to it is a perfect brand building moment. And you know what? It doesn't matter if you don't have a big budget. What counts is putting thought into what you do. Just putting yourself in your clients shoes and doing the little things make a big difference in how clients see you and your business.

I want to put a challenge out this month to the crew. Anybody out there have any ideas or suggestions. I want to motivate them to be more pro-active in terms of cold calls / social media. I'm going to call it the 1 2 3 challenge. Every day, I challenge them to post 1 vehicle for sale online/ marketplace, to make 2 different social media posts related to work, and to make 3 random outbound COLD phone calls. I KNOW if they do this, we will ALL see the results, and their check will be bonus enough! But, seeing is believing for many, so how can I "dangle the carrot" to make sure they do this challenge? I'm thinking, If they do it every day the 1st week, they get a $25 Visa Gift Card. Do it again week 2, Get a $50 Visa Gift Card. Do it again week 3, get a $75 Visa Gift Card, and do it again week 4 and get a $100 Gift card. If they sell a unit from a post or call, they get an additional $100 on top of their commission.
