Apple's hit television show #Silo is gaining new fans every week. But what turned our head wasn't the amazing cast or sets. It was the idea that a post-apocalyptic future society housed in a 40-story silo operates off of a single handbook. No, AirMason didn't write their handbook. Yes, we'd be happy to write yours! #HR #Apple

Silo, on Apple TV+ A Must-Watch That Makes You Reflect Apple has officially renewed its acclaimed sci-fi drama #Silo for seasons three and four, which will bring the adaptation of the beloved book series to its epic conclusion. — In a post-apocalyptic, toxic world, Silo explores the lives of thousands confined in a massive underground structure. After the sheriff’s violation of a cardinal rule leads to mysterious deaths, engineer Juliette (Rebecca Ferguson) embarks on a journey to uncover unsettling truths about their reality. This is more than just a beautifully crafted TV show, it’s a profound reflection on human values, the importance of remembering our past, and the critical need to build a safer, brighter future. Silo forces us to question systems of power, government overreach, and hidden truths, while celebrating the resilience of humanity even in the darkest places. On a personal note, I really enjoyed Silo, but it also left me thinking deeply about the systems we live under and the importance of standing up for what’s right. I highly recommend watching it, it’s one of those shows that leaves a lasting impression. A brilliant mix of mystery, suspense, and thought-provoking storytelling. Give light to the dark, watch Silo. #Apple #Silo #MustWatch https://lnkd.in/d-qnBUyK

A Brief History of the Future | Once Upon a Time | Episode 3 | PBS “How do the stories we tell shape the boundaries of our beliefs about what is possible? From the dawn of time, stories are how humans have made sense of the world. This episode emphasizes the fundamental role stories play in our lives, our inclination towards dystopian narratives, and the potential for bigger, better stories to unleash the power of human imagination and creativity moving forward.” https://lnkd.in/ezST9__B

It seems like Elias Khnaser and I were right about the readiness of Apple Intelligence in the last episode of Reality Distortion Fields. Hopefully, we are not right about everything else we said. Listen to the episode: https://lnkd.in/exd7q7jb #appleintelligence

This week, we finally released SLIDERS: THE COMPLETE SERIES on digital transactional platforms, as well as individual seasons of the show. Growing up, I vividly remember watching Sliders as part of my Friday night TV ritual. Sliders came on first, then The X-Files. I often watched new episodes in my grandparents' den, after we'd finished eating and talking over our weekly Shabbat dinner. When the meal was over, I'd rush downstairs to watch my favorite shows. Sliders introduced me to the idea of alternate realities and parallel worlds - a science fiction (?) concept that still fascinates me to this day. Of course, the idea of a multiverse is all over pop-culture nowadays. But back then, it blew my young mind to imagine parallel worlds "where it’s the same year, and you’re the same person, but everything else is different." In any case, I always try to find those small moments in my job at NBCUniversal that make me feel like I'm somehow giving back and leaving something positive behind for fellow fans of TV and Film. So I couldn't help but smile this week as I thought about how I was, in some small way, helping to share one of the series that shaped my childhood with fans old and new. This is #virtualPaul. He had a concept he wanted to share with you and he asked me to pass this along…. #VirtualPaul - Version 1.4 #realPaul is all in on getting ready for @PodcastMovement (don’t worry, I’ll be ready too). Here’s a bit about his session - https://buff.ly/3yFa1gj - also, … new image prompts - what do you think? Think you need a new episode every week to keep the audience hooked? Think again! 🎬 The traditional model of TV production, one where shows churn out 52 episodes a year, is undergoing a massive shift. With giants like Netflix and HBO facing delays in hit series like "Stranger Things" and "Curb Your Enthusiasm" due to the pandemic, the industry is rethinking schedules. Plus, even anticipated series like Disney+'s "Obi-Wan Kenobi" are choosing quality over quick releases, pushing back dates for the perfect script. This trend isn't just about adapting to today's challenges; it's a strategic move towards crafting more engaging, higher-quality content. Shows are taking the time to develop well-rounded, compelling narratives that keep viewers coming back, season after season, without the burnout of weekly episodes. In a world where content is king, isn't it better to prioritize quality over quantity? What series are you willing to wait for if it means getting a better story? 🌟 #TVProduction #StreamingWars #QualityContent #SeriesHiatus #FilmIndustry #EntertainmentNews #Netflix #HBOSeries #DisneyPlus #TheWitcher #StrangerThings #ObiWanKenobi #CurbYourEnthusiasm #TheMorningShow #HouseOfTheDragon This is closest to Paul Colligan’s 10th Law Of Podcasting: Quality Over Quantity, and here's why: The post emphasizes the importance of prioritizing the quality of content over merely pushing out episodes frequently, aligning with the law's focus on producing high-quality episodes to truly engage and satisfy the audience. Instead of adhering to a rigid schedule, the concept here is about taking the necessary time to develop superior content that resonates and retains viewers, which is analogous to creating impactful podcast episodes that keep listeners coming back.

"Among Us" is a captivating TV series, also available in games, that delves deep into the realms of mystery. It culture, suspense, and betrayal, captivating audiences with its intricate storyline and compelling characters. For my daughter, Oishi, it's more than just entertainment; it's a source of reasoning, fascination, and focus. As I watched alongside her, I found myself drawn into the series' concept. The concept uncertainty in every moment. Which builds constant tension, constantly guessing the true intentions of each character. Organisation politics in organic form. But beyond its thrilling plot twists, "Among Us" serves as a mirror, challenging viewers to confront their own strengths and weaknesses. It prompts introspection about self-awareness and the alignment between our conscious and subconscious minds. Destiny and Freewill, trapped in a paradigm. At its core, the series explores the intricacies of relationships and the importance of self-knowledge. It urges us to audit our friendships, ensuring they contribute positively to our lives rather than draining our energy. Ultimately, "Among Us" serves as a voyage of self-discovery, prompting us to scrutinize our intentions and pursue authenticity. It's a captivating and introspective experience, urging us to assert control over our lives amidst the intricate webs of trust and deceit. In a broader sense, just as our body systems , where ear, eye, nose etc. are all different but connected. Likewise a team is the togetherness of unique individuals. When individualistic identities fail to recognize the importance of integration, interdependence , and interpersonal relationships inevitably deteriorate. Our corrupt being is among us, within our being. Need is to uplift. Uplift with effort. & Uplift effortlessly.

🌎I will admit…I did not know this was a thing at all… 🤪But, I’m glad I know now. 🗓️Today is World Simpsons Day. I know many of you younger people think the Simpsons are just an old cartoon that people oddly reference and marvel at for random predictions. 🥇But, The Simpsons used to be “IT”. They were cultural phenomoms. The Anti-Leave it to Beaver. The Dysfunctional Family that America loved. 💩But, they weren’t about crude inneduos or tasteless and hacky jokes. It was subtle, relevant, challenging, and most importantly-Smart. ⏰I speak in the past tense, but the show is still on. I’ll admit that I haven’t watched new episodes in years and have no idea what the quality is like these days. But, I’m sure they suffer from what a lot of old staples in tv suffer from. There’s more platforms, more content, more DARING to get attention, and ultimately more fluff and crap… 👴Do I sound like an old man? Well, Bart was in the 4th grade when the first episode, “Simpsons Roasting on an Open Fire” premiered…I was also in 4th grade at the time, so you do the math….Actually, no don’t do that. 🤓I’m actually such a dork that I saw a commercial for the show in the weeks before and was over a family friend’s house the night it premiered and I demanded to watch it. Yes, I “remember where I was” to watch the first Simpsons episode lol 🎙️And as a voiceover artist, I mean, it’s basically the mountaintop of mountaintops to gaze at from the valleys. A beacon of “you never know” 🍻So, here’s to the Simpsons. An American institution we’ve never seen before and will probabaly never see again. #productioncompany #creativedirector #creativeproducer #advertising #marketing #elearning #elearningdevelopment #marketingagency #narration #marketingexecutive # #castingdirector #creativeservices #commercialproduction #commercialdirector #radioadvertising #radiomarketing #worldsimpsonsday #marketingmanager #casting #audioengineer #accountexecutive

Why do Netflix and YouTube autoplay the next episode? It’s not convenience, it’s Behavioral Momentum. Here’s what happens: ➜ The episode ends, and you’re just relaxed enough to let the next one start. ➜ Your brain avoids the “decision friction” of stopping, so you keep watching. ➜ Before you know it, you’ve binged 6 episodes. Autoplay doesn’t just save you a click—it keeps you engaged longer by reducing the effort to say “no.” The genius? They don’t ask you to watch, they just make it easier to stay. Long story short in engagement, removing friction beats asking for effort. Follow Chaitanya Athukuri for more such posts. #ProductDesign #UserBehavior #PsychologyInTech #productmanager

HBO's "The Last of Us" Season 2 Details and Future Hints HBO’s "The Last of Us" showrunners Craig Mazin and Neil Druckmann have shared significant updates about the series, providing insights into the upcoming seasons. Here's what we know so far: Key Updates: * Season 2 Length: The second season will consist of seven episodes. * Future Seasons: Mazin and Druckmann hinted at a potentially expansive narrative that could span up to four seasons. * Story Adaptation: The showrunners have emphasized that the story material from "The Last of Us Part II" is more extensive than the first game, necessitating multiple seasons to cover it adequately. Showrunners' Comments: - Craig Mazin: "The story material that we got from Part II of the game is way more than the story material that was in the first game, so part of what we had to do from the start was figure out how to tell that story across seasons." "When you do that, you look for natural breakpoints, and as we laid it out, this season, the natural breakpoint felt like it came after seven episodes." On Future Seasons: "We don’t think that we’re going to be able to tell the story even within two seasons [2 and 3] because we’re taking our time and go down interesting pathways which we did a little bit in Season 1 too." "We feel like it’s almost assuredly going to be the case that — as long as people keep watching and we can keep making more television — Season 3 will be significantly larger. And indeed, the story may require Season 4." Speculation on Major Plot Points: - Joel's Fate: * Given the pacing and structure, it’s speculated that Joel, portrayed by Pedro * * Pascal, may remain a significant character until at least the premiere of Season 3. * This could help maintain audience interest and leverage Pascal's star power. * The timing of Joel’s pivotal moment from the game could serve as a dramatic cliffhanger or a major event in the Season 3 finale. Anticipation and Release: * Season 2 Release: Fans will have to wait until 2025 to see how the story unfolds in Season 2. #TheLastOfUs #HBO #TLOU #Season2 #CraigMazin #NeilDruckmann #PedroPascal #TVSeries #GamingAdaptation #HBOOriginals
