During the last #AivpWorldConference in Lisbon a round table focused on the question : 𝐇𝐨𝐰 𝐢𝐬 𝐭𝐡𝐞 𝐄𝐮𝐫𝐨𝐩𝐞𝐚𝐧 𝐆𝐫𝐞𝐞𝐧 𝐃𝐞𝐚𝐥 𝐛𝐞𝐢𝐧𝐠 𝐢𝐦𝐩𝐥𝐞𝐦𝐞𝐧𝐭𝐞𝐝 𝐢𝐧 𝐩𝐨𝐫𝐭𝐬 𝐚𝐧𝐝 𝐰𝐡𝐚𝐭 𝐚𝐫𝐞 𝐭𝐡𝐞 𝐜𝐡𝐚𝐥𝐥𝐞𝐧𝐠𝐞𝐬 𝐟𝐨𝐫 𝐭𝐡𝐞 𝐠𝐨𝐯𝐞𝐫𝐧𝐚𝐧𝐜𝐞 𝐨𝐟 𝐭𝐡𝐞 𝐞𝐧𝐞𝐫𝐠𝐲 𝐭𝐫𝐚𝐧𝐬𝐢𝐭𝐢𝐨𝐧? (28/11/2024) It was a moment of collaboration between the two EU Green Deal port projects MAGPIE and PIONEERS Ports and also allowed for comparisons to be made with the Brazilian case. Port of Rotterdam explained both its and MAGPIE’s visions on how to become smart green ports. Port of Sines and EDP explained their activities but also highlighted the importance of cooperation between ports and port ecosystem stakeholders in order to advance. With: Reyer C.
