🌟 Day 5 of Our Internal Capacity Building Workshop on Constitutional Values in Haridwar! 🇮🇳✨ Today, we delved into Day 5 of our internal capacity building workshop, focusing on the essential constitutional values. The session started with context setting, followed by an in-depth discussion on various core values integral to our constitution. We then reviewed posters from different workshop days at degree colleges and excitingly added two new days—Environmental Day and Independence Day—bringing our total to 8 dedicated days for engaging with college youths across various districts. A quiz on constitutional values enriched our understanding further. We then shared insights on the various youth clubs developed by our team members in different districts of Uttarakhand, such as the Catalyst Club in Uttarkashi, Trihari Club in Tehri, and Be the Change in Chamoli. I had the privilege to share the journey of our "Be the Change" youth club in Gopeshwar, detailing its formation, our strategies for mobilizing the youth, and our engagement activities at the TLC, including the Reading Fest, "Inse Miliye" sessions, special day celebrations, and future planning discussions. Additionally, I outlined our action plan for the upcoming months and ongoing projects. The day wrapped up with a Q&A session, addressing any doubts from foundation members. Stupendous Results in Jawahar #Navodaya Entrance The results of the Jawahar Navodaya Vidyalaya Selection Test for admission into Grade 6 were declared on the 31st of March. It is a matter of great delight for us that 43 Parivaar children have been selected for admission to these prestigious schools in the session 2024-25. In the previous year, 15 children were selected for the JNVST-6. Thus, the number of selected children has risen to almost 3 times that of the previous year. Timings changed in federal and KP schools due to extreme heat Peshawar: Due to extreme heat, the timings were changed in the schools of Federation and Khyber Pakhtunkhwa. The Federal Ministry of Education has further reduced the school hours. According to Secretary Education Mohiuddin Wani, educational institutions will open from 7:30 to 11:30 from tomorrow, while there will be no assembly and sports period. Earlier the working hours were from 7:30 am to 1:00 am. Similarly, according to the Education Department of Khyber Pakhtunkhwa, schools will open at 7 am instead of 8 am while primary section will be closed at 11 am, middle, high and higher secondary schools will be closed at 12 pm. Summer vacations for primary schools will be from June 1 to August 31, while middle, high and higher secondary schools will have summer vacations from June 15 to August 31.
