*** Mass Tourism - Eco-Tourism - Responsible Tourism *** Beach Tourism - Hill Tourism - Caravan Tourism - Seaplane Tourism *** Despite all these efforts, Kerala has been placed on the "No List" taking into consideration environmental aspects. *** It is high time that the Tourism Minister, Tourism Secretary, Tourism Director, DTPCs, and other concerned authorities open their eyes and see the stark reality. *** Instead of the whole Government contingent traveling at the expense of the ordinary man to showcase Kerala Tourism to the whole world at international conferences and expos, we should introspect locally, see the drawbacks in our basic infrastructure, and together do the necessary to level those gaps. *** I repeat the question, I keep on asking, once again here - Kovalam and Shanghumugham - the two famous tourist destinations in the Capital City - Is there drinking water available? Is there a proper clean toilet available? Are there any changing rooms around? *** We are lacking the basics. Let us bring about some changes there and then take our tourism to the international arena. #kerala #keralatourism #keralagodsowncountry #KeralaNews #keralatourismofficial

𝗥𝗲𝘃𝗶𝘃𝗶𝗻𝗴 𝗧𝗼𝘂𝗿𝗶𝘀𝗺: 𝗟𝗲𝘀𝘀𝗼𝗻𝘀 𝗳𝗿𝗼𝗺 𝗚𝗼𝗮'𝘀 𝗗𝗲𝗰𝗹𝗶𝗻𝗲 Once the gem of Indian tourism, Goa is now grappling with a noticeable drop in visitors. This shift from a top destination to a less favored spot offers valuable lessons for the travel industry. Here are four critical insights: 1️⃣ 𝗕𝗮𝗹𝗮𝗻𝗰𝗶𝗻𝗴 𝗖𝗼𝘀𝘁𝘀 𝗮𝗻𝗱 𝗤𝘂𝗮𝗹𝗶𝘁𝘆 Tourists seek value for their money. Overpriced stays and activities paired with underwhelming service lead to dissatisfaction. The takeaway? Offer competitive pricing and ensure services exceed expectations. Quality matters as much as affordability. 2️⃣ 𝗣𝗿𝗼𝘁𝗲𝗰𝘁 𝗪𝗵𝗮𝘁 𝗠𝗮𝗸𝗲𝘀 𝗬𝗼𝘂 𝗨𝗻𝗶𝗾𝘂𝗲 Goa’s charm lay in its serene beaches and vibrant culture, but neglecting these core attractions has damaged its appeal. Every destination must safeguard its identity while staying relevant to changing traveler preferences. 3️⃣ 𝗪𝗲𝗹𝗰𝗼𝗺𝗶𝗻𝗴 𝗔𝘁𝘁𝗶𝘁𝘂𝗱𝗲𝘀 𝗔𝗿𝗲 𝗞𝗲𝘆 Reports of unfriendly interactions with locals have affected Goa's reputation. Tourism thrives when communities and visitors share mutual respect. Training and awareness programs can create a more inviting atmosphere. 4️⃣ 𝗦𝘁𝗿𝗮𝘁𝗲𝗴𝗶𝗰 𝗚𝗼𝘃𝗲𝗿𝗻𝗺𝗲𝗻𝘁 𝗣𝗼𝗹𝗶𝗰𝗶𝗲𝘀 Inadequate planning, poor infrastructure, and lack of long-term vision have hampered Goa’s potential. Collaborative efforts between governments and local stakeholders are essential for sustainable growth in tourism. 🔑 𝗔 𝗣𝗮𝘁𝗵 𝘁𝗼 𝗥𝗲𝗰𝗼𝘃𝗲𝗿𝘆: To avoid similar challenges, destinations must focus on affordability, quality experiences, community engagement, and strategic planning. A welcoming and well-managed environment is the foundation for thriving tourism. 💬 𝗪𝗵𝗮𝘁 𝘀𝘁𝗿𝗮𝘁𝗲𝗴𝗶𝗲𝘀 𝘄𝗼𝘂𝗹𝗱 𝘆𝗼𝘂 𝘀𝘂𝗴𝗴𝗲𝘀𝘁 𝘁𝗼 𝗿𝗲𝘃𝗶𝘃𝗲 𝘀𝘁𝗿𝘂𝗴𝗴𝗹𝗶𝗻𝗴 𝗱𝗲𝘀𝘁𝗶𝗻𝗮𝘁𝗶𝗼𝗻𝘀 𝗹𝗶𝗸𝗲 𝗚𝗼𝗮? #TourismTrends #SustainableTravel #TravelTips #TourismInsights #ZiffyHolidays
