CEO @ Women in Sales - Reshaping the Future of Sales

“You hit quota because you got lucky” Years ago, I had on old colleague say this to me I felt pissed off and immediately went and pulled a report of all the logos and revenue I’d closed YTD to show him It was a complete waste of time and energy and I didn’t prove anything to him or myself Here’s the thing: I didn’t miss a single month of quota for ~2 straight years in that role I was top of the leaderboard every single month I was in my earliest 20s landing $30-40k monthly commission checks I won every high achiever award None of that matters to haters When people have their mind made up about you, let them stay that way The beauty of sales is quota reigns queen As long as your numbers are good, there’s no need to prove yourself to others The results speak for themselves This is why I have so much love for this field ❤️ Performance > Posturing
