Today we’re celebrating International Day of Forests! 🌳 This day was instituted in 2012 to celebrate and raise awareness of the importance of all types of forests. At New Chapter, we love Mother Earth and her trees, which is why we’re committed to making a difference every year. In 2023, New Chapter’s carbon offsets supported rainforest conservation projects, helping us prevent releasing carbon emissions via deforestation. What is an “offset”? For every unit of carbon New Chapter’s Carbonfree Certified products emitted, an equal amount was offset through rainforest conservation projects that sequestered CO2 emissions from the atmosphere into trees and soil. †Based on total units sold between 1/1/23 through 9/30/23. #newchaptervitamins #wellness #internationaldayofforests #carbonfree #PGemployee

Developing much needed homes AND improving the natural environment? It can be done! Take a look at how we’ve made biodiversity a feature of our approach to development, not just a legal requirement. Oh, and spot the back of my head taking part in the ecology tours 😂 #sustainability #biodiversity #housing #development
We're excited to see the ongoing transformation taking place at One Horton Heath. There's a strong focus on creating a sustainable community built upon a foundation of ecological awareness and environmental preservation. 🌱 Through close collaboration with local experts, they've already created diverse ecological habitats that support wildlife. 🐊 Six ponds near the north entrance are already attracting great crested newts. Wildflower meadows and an avenue of trees near the south entrance are also thriving. 🌳 #WildlifeHabitat #SustainableCommunity #Biodiversity
