📢 Students are paying for attachment/internships? Did you know that completing a degree in Kenya requires at least one industrial attachment, commonly known as an internship? While this provides a great opportunity for hands-on learning, some troubling news has come to my attention. Certain industries and companies are turning these internships into profit-making schemes. Students alias "comrades" are being asked to PAY for these opportunities, often after a brief, not-so-professional interview. In some cases, they even demand monthly payments throughout the attachment period. This practice is not only unfair but also unethical. Internships should be about learning and growth, not financial exploitation. Have you or someone you know experienced this? Share your story in the comments or message me directly.
