It's that time of year again! 🏈 The season of touchdowns, trades, and the eternal quest for the Fantasy Football League Super Bowl title. So, as we kick off another football season, let's remember the unsung heroes of both the gridiron and the office. Whether it's drafting a player or hiring a new team member, sometimes the best move is betting on potential and watching it soar. 🌟 Looking for an MVP to join your team? Football is BACK and that means so is fantasy football💥 As I drafted my first ever fantasy team, I realized my strategy had a lot in common with how I recruit: - Identifying key players who fit specific needs - Making decisions in the moment, but always with long-term goals in mind - Adjusting strategies as you learn more about your "players" and the competition In both, it's not just about finding talent- it's about finding the right pick for your team's success. And not to brag, but I think my strategy has paid off in week 1😏 #Recruiting #FantasyFootball #TalentAcquisition #TeamBuilidng

Here we go again. That fine line between good-hearted fun ... and being an a$$hole. And yes, this is sparked by the #stanleycupplayoffs There is a distinct difference between playful "chirping" and flat out salty, judgmental and mean-spirited stuff. For non sports fans, "chirping" is a term used to describe playful and within sportsmanlike boundaries banter. Sometimes also called "trash talk". Right now the Vegas Golden Knights are deep in Round 1 of the #StanleyCupPlayoffs. Playing against the Dallas Stars - a team they met later in the playoffs last year. Last year's engagement was contentious at best and utterly despicable at worst. Those would be words to describe Jamie Benn, the Stars team, management and many of the fans. We all want our teams to win. BUT when your team loses and you think appropriate response includes grotesque gestures, language of violence and even threats of death to the team that wins ... that's not okay. To be clear it's not ALL Dallas fans. I have some dearly beloved friends who live in Dallas, are from Dallas and/or cheer for Dallas. But taken in aggregate the things I've seen online, which I won't repost because that perpetuates the hate and negativity, they're an example of how things get out of hand with language. That's it. That's the post. And yes, I posted this image with this post as a direct chirp. So neener neener :) #leadership #languagematters #sportsmanlikeconduct #honor #unleashedleadership #fixyourendoftheleash #compassionatecandor #communication

Don’t sweep 🧹 things under the rug. Have a ❤️ to ❤️ honest conversation 💬 even if it’s 2-3 weeks before playoffs, this can help your crew get on the same bus 🚌 moving in the same direction, together as one unit. ⛹️♀️⛹️♀️ I've worked with teams that were full of fantastic athletes ⛹️♀️that were on different pages 📄 even a few weeks before the national championship, and those talented athletes still finished on the podium in the end. 🏆🥇2024 and 2025 are a time to lean into hard conversations. #SportsPsychology #TeamCulture #SportsCulture #PlayoffSeason #PostSeason #ChampionTeam #CoachTalk #CoachAdvice #TeamSupport #SportsPlayoffs #TeamStories #Teamwork #ChampionshipTips #TeamTips #AthleticTales #SportsAdvice #TeamPsychology #PlayoffAdvice #SportsMotivation

⚾ Excitement is in the air as the MLB playoffs kick into full gear! As we watch our favorite teams battle it out for the championship, it's a great time to reflect on the power of teamwork both on and off the field. In baseball, just like in the workplace, success is built on collaboration, trust and a shared vision. Every player, from the star pitcher to the utility infielder, plays a crucial role in achieving the ultimate goal – winning the World Series. It's a reminder that: 1. Communication is Key: Just as players need to communicate effectively to execute plays, clear and open communication in our teams ensures everyone is aligned and working toward the same objectives. 2. Diverse Skills Matter: A winning team is made up of individuals with diverse skills and strengths. Embracing and leveraging these differences can lead to innovative solutions and greater success. 3. Resilience and Adaptability: The playoffs are a test of resilience and adaptability. Teams must adjust their strategies and stay focused under pressure. Similarly, in our professional lives, being adaptable and resilient helps us navigate challenges and seize opportunities. 4. Celebrating Wins Together: Whether it's a walk-off home run or a successful project completion, celebrating wins together fosters a sense of camaraderie and motivates us to keep pushing forward. As we cheer for our teams this postseason, let's also take a moment to appreciate the teamwork and dedication that drive success in all areas of life. Here's to the thrill of the game and the power of working together! 👏 ⚾ Who are you rooting for this post-season? 🚨 Planning is Everything in Team Management! 🚨 At Ronic Sports Management, we know that behind every successful soccer club is a well-oiled management team—because proper planning off the field leads to wins on it. A prime example? Vancouver Whitecaps FC. Despite earning the #8 seed for tonights wild card match in the MLS playoffs to face their rival the Portland Timbers (the #9 seed), they now face a huge disadvantage, playing their home game away from home in Portland due to a stadium scheduling conflict. This isn’t just a logistical hiccup—it’s a critical blow to the team’s performance and the clubs bottom line. Having to travel when they should be gaining that crucial home-field advantage could impact their momentum and morale. This is exactly why solid team operations and meticulous planning are non-negotiable for long-term success. 📋 Don't let poor planning hold your club back. Learn the ins and outs of strategic management with Ronic Sports Management and give your team every advantage they deserve! #TeamOperations #SoccerManagement #Whitecaps #Playoffs #PlanForSuccess #RonicCertified #MLSPlayoffs

It's certainly "tough" having an office view like this some days. I have learned over the years that sometimes you have a great day, sometimes not. Some days you can have a rough day, but because you have stellar coworkers the day turns out positive. In sports, and primarily looking at things from a fans perspective, the team outcome (not even talking about the on field results) is what truly matters. When the sun sets, do your fans walk away expressing their feelings about how great of experience they had? Then your team won the day regardless of the score of the game. If you had a bad day in your role with the team, don't let it effect the outcome of your fan's experience. Fans come to baseball games with a known perception that on the field one team wins and one loses. But make sure that your team lives up to the expectations that your fans deserve to win every time they come to your ballpark. #SportsMarketing #TeamGame

Baseball season is here. Like many fans, I'm very optimistic, despite my Astros getting swept by the Yankees. Brutal stuff. But I've got to ask, why do we always wait until the bottom of the ninth to start hiring for Construction projects? Is there a secret thrill in the last-minute home run? 🤔 It's Q2, everyone—the inning where the Construction industry shakes off the winter chill and realizes it’s been playing catch-up all along. It’s like we’re up to bat with two outs, and suddenly, we’re wondering if we even know where first base is. Think about it: hiring in Q2 is like securing season tickets behind home plate. Wait too long, and you’re stuck squinting from the bleachers, trying to figure out if that’s a player or a hot dog vendor on the field. Here’s why Q2 is your batting practice for hiring: ⚾ Scouting Report: Get your team lined up now, and you're not just ready; you're in the dugout, planning your World Series parade. ⚾ Spring Training: By the time peak season rolls in, your team will have gone from batting practice to hitting grand slams, leaving competitors in the dust. ⚾ Play Ball: Imagine being so ahead of the game that while others are still drafting their lineup, you’re already rounding bases. And let’s not forget about the impact on company culture. There’s a certain buzz when everyone’s ready and eager at the top of the season—because no one's running around the field, wondering who's on first. So, as we step up to the plate this Q2, ask yourself: Is my team ready for the upcoming season? Got any big league strategies or rookie mistakes to share this Q2? Let’s turn this comment section into the seventh-inning stretch we all need. Share your experiences below! 👇 #hiringnow #construction #veterans #jrileyrecruitment

🚀 𝐏𝐨𝐬𝐭-𝐒𝐞𝐚𝐬𝐨𝐧 𝐁𝐨𝐮𝐧𝐝! 𝐏𝐥𝐚𝐲𝐨𝐟𝐟𝐬 𝐂𝐥𝐢𝐧𝐜𝐡𝐞𝐝! The Chicago Red Stars have officially clinched a spot in the National Women's Soccer League (NWSL) 𝐏𝐥𝐚𝐲𝐨𝐟𝐟𝐬 with two games to go in the regular season! ⚽️🔵⭐️ This achievement is not just a testament to the 𝐡𝐚𝐫𝐝 𝐰𝐨𝐫𝐤, 𝐝𝐞𝐝𝐢𝐜𝐚𝐭𝐢𝐨𝐧, and 𝐭𝐚𝐥𝐞𝐧𝐭 of our 𝐩𝐥𝐚𝐲𝐞𝐫𝐬 and 𝐬𝐭𝐚𝐟𝐟, but also the beginning of an exciting new chapter for this 𝐡𝐢𝐬𝐭𝐨𝐫𝐢𝐜 𝐜𝐥𝐮𝐛. When I joined as General Manager 10 months ago, our mission was clear: to 𝐫𝐞𝐛𝐮𝐢𝐥𝐝 𝐭𝐡𝐞 𝐜𝐮𝐥𝐭𝐮𝐫𝐞, 𝐫𝐞𝐢𝐠𝐧𝐢𝐭𝐞 𝐭𝐡𝐞 𝐩𝐚𝐬𝐬𝐢𝐨𝐧 for the game, and 𝐫𝐞𝐬𝐭𝐨𝐫𝐞 𝐣𝐨𝐲 𝐚𝐧𝐝 𝐩𝐮𝐫𝐩𝐨𝐬𝐞 both on and off the field. This represents a 𝐬𝐢𝐠𝐧𝐢𝐟𝐢𝐜𝐚𝐧𝐭 𝐦𝐢𝐥𝐞𝐬𝐭𝐨𝐧𝐞 for the club, especially after the challenges of last season, where the team finished at the bottom of the standings. Even though I wasn’t here at the time, I couldn’t be prouder of how far we’ve come and of everyone who has been a part of this journey. 🙌 However, this is just the 𝐛𝐞𝐠𝐢𝐧𝐧𝐢𝐧𝐠. While securing our place in the 𝐩𝐨𝐬𝐭𝐬𝐞𝐚𝐬𝐨𝐧 is a major milestone, it’s not the 𝐟𝐢𝐧𝐚𝐥 𝐝𝐞𝐬𝐭𝐢𝐧𝐚𝐭𝐢𝐨𝐧. It’s the 𝐟𝐨𝐮𝐧𝐝𝐚𝐭𝐢𝐨𝐧 𝐨𝐟 𝐬𝐨𝐦𝐞𝐭𝐡𝐢𝐧𝐠 𝐛𝐢𝐠𝐠𝐞𝐫. We are only scratching the surface of what this team and this organization are capable of achieving. 𝐓𝐡𝐚𝐧𝐤 𝐲𝐨𝐮 to our incredible players, the staff, and the entire 𝐑𝐞𝐝 𝐒𝐭𝐚𝐫𝐬 𝐟𝐚𝐦𝐢𝐥𝐲 for your unwavering 𝐜𝐨𝐦𝐦𝐢𝐭𝐦𝐞𝐧𝐭 and 𝐛𝐞𝐥𝐢𝐞𝐟. We’re building something special here with such great leaders as Laura Ricketts & Karen Leetzow, and this is just the 𝐟𝐢𝐫𝐬𝐭 𝐬𝐭𝐨𝐧𝐞 of that long-term project. Now, onto the 𝐩𝐥𝐚𝐲𝐨𝐟𝐟𝐬! 💪🔥 #PlayoffsClinched #PostSeasonBound #ChicagoRedStars #ChiTown #NWSL #Teamwork #Rebuild #ElPlan
