CIP and our Energy Transition Fund has - through the HØST PtX Esbjerg project in Denmark - a uniquely positioned project with access to power from Europe’s green power plant and abundant offshore wind resources in the North Sea combined with proximity to the German hydrogen demand centers. In short: A very good opportunity to harvest the wind and produce green molecules for the German industry to decarbonize, and at the same time contribute to further electrification of the Danish society.

In Esbjerg, one of Europe’s largest Power-to-X facilities is underway, deploying industrial use of electrolysis-technology on GW-level. By producing green ammonia, HØST PtX Esbjerg will open the door to decarbonisation of hard-to-abate sectors such as shipping, agriculture and industrial applications.   In just two weeks, the European Sustainable Energy Week (EUSEW) will bring together public authorities, private companies, NGOs, and consumers to promote initiatives accelerating decarbonization through green technologies and solutions. This year’s theme, ‘Net-zero competitiveness driving EU energy transition,’ focuses on delivering Europe’s decarbonization through green technologies and solutions towards a fair and just transition for people and competitive businesses. Aramis CCS will be participating in a panel discussion (June 12th) on overcoming barriers to CCS deployment. Denmark is committed to building a greener future and this commitment was reinforced this Wednesday (23) at Brazil Windpower 2024. The companies that are part of the Danish Pavilion this year signed a document reinforcing the importance of promoting a fair energy transition that creates sustainable opportunities in Brazil and around the world. "Denmark has proven, through its pioneer developments of on and offshore wind projects throughout the years, that bold climate goals and decisive action are the key for the establishment of a sustainable and competitive sector. Especially in the case of such complex industries as offshore wind and Power-to-X, proper support from firm regulation and committed policies has the potential to bring technological advancements and social and economic development", informs the document that was read by the Danish Consul General in São Paulo, Laurids Refslund.
