When you’re delivering DE&I training: ❌ DON’T piggyback off social awareness events or host one-off company seminars with no follow-up Not only does this have little-to-no effect on the actual behaviour of your people, but virtue signalling with awareness events can make it seem insincere. Instead: ✅ DO implement a genuine initiative that includes bias training, anonymous feedback, continuous engagement and diversity audits. This way, your people can embrace shared values while engaging in honest communication. Bias training allows you to promote more empathy across your team, making a more inclusive future for everyone.
