Analyzing a #mineral #oil inhibited after the RPVOT test, then processed in extreme conditions (presence of water, catalyst, high pressure oxygen and high temperature), as well as noticing a change in its appearance and properties, such as #acidity, #viscosity, #density, #color, etc., It is noted that the composition of the carbon constituting the oil changes, there is an increase in aromatic carbon at the expense of paraffinic carbon, The chaos that is generated through oxidation reactions leads to the formation of intermediates reactive substances that can undergo cycloalkylation processes with the transformation of more thermodynamically stable benzene rings under extreme conditions, but also dehydrogenation, catalytic cracking (although not predominant as the % of paraffinic carbon does not vary much), or condensation and polymerization reactions can contribute to the formation of the aromatic fraction, The question mark refers to the fact that a naphthenic fraction consisting of 6 carbon atoms such as cyclohexane, by direct dehydrogenation (due to the stress mentioned above) could generate benzene, maintaining its annular structure, a more plausible and less complex solution.......(corrected slide)

EDI #5: The fully charged ions, like calcium (Ca+2), sodium (Na+1), sulfate (SO4-2) and chloride (Cl-) are removed at the front of the dilute channels. After the fully charged ions are removed, the electrical potential splits water molecules (H2O) into hydrogen ions (H+) and hydroxide ions (OH-), which drives the weakly dissociated compounds like dissolved carbon dioxide (carbonic acid) and boric acid into ionic species so they can be removed. https://lnkd.in/eAUkMJ8
