Aleph - Analisi strategiche’s Post

Somalia has been widely defined as a “failed state”. It has a myriad of internal and external conflicts such as those with Ethiopia and Somalia, and lacks any central political authority or any semblance of economic development. The majority of the population has always lived in a warzone, in a nation that has yet to ever see peace or stability. With rising global temperatures, the continuous alternation of droughts and floods has led to the destruction of plantations, fuelling mass migration. Despite its challenges, Somalia has massive potential owing to its strategic location across the Indian Ocean, Red Sea and, consequently, the Suez Canal. - Francesco Maffei https://lnkd.in/d8D229CW
