📈 Observing current trends, it's evident that the automation of hotel staff is gaining traction in Europe. I recall that as early as the 1990s, Formule 1 Hotels in France were pioneers in this area. The major shift that could potentially eliminate hotel staff altogether is driven by the remarkable advancements in artificial intelligence (AI) over the past few months. AI has the potential to significantly enhance travel experiences by: 1. Personalizing itineraries based on individual preferences. 2. Suggesting activities tailored to the traveler’s interests. 3. Optimizing room services according to guest habits and needs. 4. Providing real-time translation services for international guests. 5. Offering 24/7 virtual concierge services for instant assistance. Despite these impressive capabilities, I firmly believe that the human touch remains irreplaceable. The value of human interaction in hospitality is essential and cannot be fully replicated by machines.
