It was a pleasure to have the G3 Robotics FIRST team from Midtown High School visit Dematic 's Global Headquarters in Atlanta with their impressive robot, Dancing Queen, in tow for a live demonstration. The students explained their preparation process for upcoming competitions, and they shared how their participation on a FIRST Robotics team has exposed them to building essential skills for their future. There was one student in particular who had a wonderful story of her progress in robotics - she went from having zero knowledge to becoming a leader on her robotics team in just two years. Wow! A heartfelt thanks to Christian Rodriguez, my coworker and mentor for the G3 team, to Atlanta's 11Alive News for documenting this inspiring event, and to the Atlanta City Council and Metro Atlanta Chamberfor joining us.
