It makes me so happy to see other outlets talking about the value of playing at work. From a purely anecdotal perspective, I'd say 90% of the things I hear clients, friends, and acquaintances complain about regarding work have to do with other people. * Not understanding different communication styles. * Incorrect assumptions about other people's motivations and behaviors. * Perceived conflict that is really just differing priorities or perspectives. * Feeling ignored or devalued. ALL of these have to do with lack of empathy and understanding among colleagues. Which means they can all be solved and prevented.
