We need to educate themselves from an empirical status as well, right? Recently as I've started this PhD journey, some of the things I've learned, you know, there's so many studies out there. You know, there's a Pollock study from 2019 that. Well, it's like 17 different attributes that veterans are good at as which was taken from people, not that we're not a veteran. So decision makers, hiring managers, hey, this is what we think veterans are good at. And then, you know, there was a 2016 monster study. We're over 87% of employers felt that veterans brought a lot to the table, had a lot to add. So veterans need to go out, kind of find some of those data points, I think. And that's kind of what I'm trying to learn more about And what I'm hoping my research forwards is like, hey, here are actual empirical things. Let's say these people are good at these things and then the break point about that study specifically that I cited, the Pollock study was they looked at public companies that were veteran friendly and those firms if I don't know if we saw a. Aggregate increase of 5.2% in their stock price as compared to non veteran firm. So from a financial standpoint, in the financial sector, in the investment sector, there is an empirical piece of data that veterans can grab on to and say hey look if you have veterans in your company, we've got some data that shows your stock price is going to go up. And if there's anything that motivates finance people more than than that, I would, I'd love to someone to tell me that, but that is actually an empire. So veterans need to educate themselves as well and I think I struggled with that. And now I'm starting to learn that like, hey, you've got to be able to present people with. Here, it's not just because I'm a veteran. It's become a veteran. And here are empirical reasons why having a veteran in your group means so much more.
