Thrilled to Share My Summer Experience at Finvision! I’m incredibly grateful for the opportunity to work as a summer student at Finvision, where I was welcomed with open arms and enjoyed a great atmosphere. Special thanks to Sam Verfaillie, Felix Stuyck and Quentin Van Houte for their support and guidance. As a part of the Finvision Lab team, which focuses on cross-division projects harnessing the power of data and AI, I had the chance to work on two exciting projects: 1️⃣ Automating Leasing Contract Processing (IFRS 16): I developed a Python program to automate the extraction, processing, and transfer of data from GLC, a leasing contract management tool, to various formats compatible with consolidation and accounting systems. This solution improves the efficiency, flexibility, and accuracy of the overall process. 2️⃣ Leveraging LLMs & Web Scraping: I contributed to perfecting a program that leverages large language models to extract key information from memoranda of association. The program also employs web scraping techniques to enrich the extracted data, significantly improving the efficiency of retrieving essential company information. This experience deepened my understanding of data-driven solutions and the potential of AI in optimizing processes. ✨ Thrilled to announce that I have completed my 5th task of my DS intern at Encryptix • Built a machine learning model to identify fraudulent credit card transactions. • Preprocessed and normalized the transaction data, handle class imbalance issues, and split the dataset into training and testing sets. • Trained a classification algorithm, such as logistic regression or random forests, to classify transactions as fraudulent or genuine. • Evaluated the model's performance using metrics like precision, recall, and F1 score. github_link: https://lnkd.in/gm_cYkaX #Encryptix

So, I have some news to share. I am now a Headstarter Software Engineering fellow. I will be doing building 5 AI projects in 5 weeks and and as my final project I will track a goal to get 1000 people on waitlist or 1000 accounts created or $1000 in revenue. The part I am most excited about this fellowship is I will be able to build my Vision, Network, Project, Teamwork/collab and How to Sell.
